Seriously if i have the money enough for a car and a bike and still live comfortably.. I will want to keep my FJR...

 

But i guess my pay cannot really substant both vehicles... Especially the insurance... So i guess in order to save up more money for my future i need to give one up..

 

Either which i will just push bike to bike shop and pay the difference.

Seriously speaking.. My job needs quite abit of travelling.. Thats why having a car will be more convenient as in rain and shine...

 

But come to think of its parking, the petrol etc.. I would want to choose to have my FJR. Anyway i will see how 1st. Haven get the car.. but intending.. it depends on my budget...

It is very saddening:weep: to see that FJRians are very shy people or people with a very hectic schedules. We need to raise our level of cohesiveness.

 

All the other forums have regular meet up and rides. The rest of the other bike groups Esp ST11, S4, Gilera runner, Super bikes, are always riding together on sat nights, going into JB for some supper and serious fast riding and cheap petrol before coming out.

 

I believe it has been a long time since singapore has seen FJRs riding in one group. Without "kaki's" the bikes we ride will be quite redundant. Let us come together once in a while, doesn't have to be every sat night, but at least once a month or once in 2 months also can.

 

Here is my proposal. I am just working on something Teamlm started. Please let me know your inputs eg. night ride instead of morning ride, or malacca instead of mersing, or sat instead of sunday. Please reply with your views,so that those planning will know your preference.

For those who can join us after the gathering session, we will proceed to Mersing for lunch and be back to Singapore before 4.30pm.Total Distance is about 350km. We will be using NS highway exiting Ayer Hitam and trunk road to Mersing. After lunch, departure from Mersing at 2pm. Estimated back to Singapore about 4.30pm.

BTW if anyone is interested, My friend's and i make night rides to Kulai for supper and full tank fill ups before returning back to SGP every sat night 10pm Kallang KFC. please feel free to join us. SGP pertrol too expensive esp for big tank capacity bike like FJR very worth it to pump there.

@clinton - Our strength is definitely lesser than STs... So thats why they want to find kaki is much more easier.. As for gilera, S4 and other , I think its because their age group is much younger. FJRians are usually in their late 20s - 30s and most have family commitments...

 

But I'm glad to have pple like u and Teamlm to take the initiative and organise outings. Just dun get discourage by the number of turn ups sometimes.

though i am still waiting for the '06 model, i would love to join u for rides but...sigh... not that i don't want to join the FJR fellowship but have reserves weekends as family days and to apply leaves my boss requires me to give atleast 2weeks advance notice (preferable 6mths )

so even after i get my FJR also hardly can join u ppl for weekend trips
