Have been a fan of the 2010 Z1000 since I tried it out overseas. You're right.... Once you see it, or even try it, you would fork out the cash!...

 

As the Z1000s have alway been made for the US ad European markets, I guess they are trying for a better price point to sell more bikes there. Hence no ABS.

From what I gather, it retails for under US10K

 

The funny thing is that local dealers just whack us for every new model. Margins are unreal. I guess our marrkets too small to make a difference.

 

I'm sure evershine will offer a better deal oce the stock is already in.

Great to see that zed lovers n the thread is coming alive....the new zed is such a beauty....latest UK Bike magazine did a comparison between the 2010 zed n the MV augusta brutale as well as the Ducati Streetfighter....the Zed came out tops due to its affordability, handling and strangely compared to the other 2 european beauties, the zed also achieved remarkable compliments for its looks....can't wait to see it in the flash....

Dun think Evershine brought in new z750. There's a 2004 one at Looi's. Red and in very good condition. Bone stock. Used to be owned by a fellow forumer. I was offered $8k otr. Age 28. Alightly over priced but I dun see it available anywhere else...
