hi guys ...nice to see this thread alive i just came back fr hadyai 3ncr with my 2mth old z1k 08'...pillion my wife...1st time up north with a full naked bike,im using a puig windshield...it was like wind crazy man....my previous ride was fazer and fjr....but i still love my zed..there was a lot of zed's riders fr malaysia n thailand but i think im the only 1 fr sg very sad man...guys im iskandar hp81826768 buzz me if u all organizing any meet up i'll try to come coz im working shift...c u guys man....

 

Steady la bro got another Gen2! Is ur ride oragne and black? So the puig got use or not? At what speeds cannot tahan?

No worries bro. We will have more outings and hopefully a riding trip. Last night, NC39 (Saiful), Iskandar, Kenny and myself met up for kopi and chit chat session. 2 Gen1s and 2 Gen2s. Nice bikes bros. Next time must take picture la... always forget hahah... ZEDIANS!!!

now hoping that Kawasaki Japan squeezes the 1400cc engine into the z1000 frame, bwah ha ha ha i may jump back into this ship

sadly, cannot add; traded in the z1000, after two yers of fun, for the bee king; and now "rebuilding" my kawa kz750.

 

no lah, did not hear abt any "z1400", it's just a wish/dream of mine tat since they oredy have a 1400cc engine, y not just build one z1400?

I just went to the sites and checked. Items made of industrialised ABS plastic and comes from Hong Kong. They cost around US$60 each with shipping including. So thats about SGD$80. Mine is black so color easy to match. But your's and J's, they have the colour and they say it's factory colour but I dunno how chun they are... Just go to ebay.com and search for z1000 solo seat. You can see there. Prices are US$28, US$43, or US$55. Different sellers but by the time add shipping all arnd same price. (actually J's titanium looks abit off, the green seems alright)

 

Jln Skudai selling RM$300 each. Dunno can bargain or not. OEM from Kawasaki. That's around SGD$120. So $40 more only... not that big a deal... So now I thinking if we should just get the original from JB. Like macam safer also espiecially cos of your colours. When I go in pump petrol I will ask if buy 3 can cheaper or not.

 

I emailed another supplier from China so waiting for his reply. See if the savings are more worthy.
