Haha. An avid motoworld follower!!

lol, no la.. Not many places n SG can get those stuff easily. Especially when they have discount...

In SG, cheap stuff all go to Lim Ah Boy, Better stuff all go to Motoworld.. But i really hope there are more places to choose from, so that they cant monopolize the market and we can benefit more as a consumer..

Nah I dunno. But the 750 no nd worry about the engine la. Downtuned from a zx9r so its extremely under stressed. as long as u know why u getting it can liao. Slight differences to the 1000. Only lacks in the higher rev range. In sg no prob. Shiok to whack.

Feel free to ask watever u want abt these bikes!

Downtune meaning there is a possibility to tune for power and performance using PC3, the bike mainly will be used to commute in SG and maybe occasionally for fun riding in Malaysia.

Personally I prefer low end torque, initially I was considering between Super4 and the Z750, it was a tough decision to make, Super4 has high resale value and spares are commonly available, but what won me over was the Z750 performance, comestic and its cheaper compare to a same year (FY plate) Spec 3.

Now I need to know where to get fork oil seal to replace one of the leaking fork.

... Slight differences to the 1000...

And the 4 exhaust pipes :)

Detuned or neuted usually involves more than just an ignition/fueling map. Cam change, intake/exhaust system design, all these allows the engine to produce more power in the low and mid range, suitable for a street bike, compared to mainly mid and top end of a sportsbike. These you can't reverse with a PC.

You can still mod to get closer to the ZX9 performance but then you would have bought the wrong bike. Not saying you can't mod to get a little more out of you bike though.

Don't replace the fork seal, just change to my Z1 inverted frontend and you're done :)

Whats the price for FY plate Z1?

Actually the prices about the same. the 750 has better stock fuel map, but any efi bike will bode well with a pc3. If u bought yours over a s4, then dun worry la, u made a gd choice! no need to think abt resale value all la... if get a bike that has gd resale value but u dun like oso not shiok. spend money buy, buy one which u like, not one other people will like enuf to buy from u in future. This is just my personal opinion!

what i meant abt being downtuned is that it is understressed compared to what it was originally made for, ie; the zx9. that bike was high revving and top end rush. so to tune to a streetbike performance, it is understressed. and DrRipper is right, a lot more than just fuel map la... dun bother abt all those cos the cost is not worthy.

for the seals, u dun really need kawa specific seals. if the mech knows what he is doing, u just need one the same size. most shops have it. if u want inverted forks on the 750, u need the z1000's top clamp which is quite rare n costs considerably a lot. but if u ok with the performance of ur stock forks n brakes, then no issues la. maintain can liao.

Just downloaded the Z750 manual last night, as thinking to do the basic maintenance myself, totat 491 pages and almost half of the content is about the sensor and EFI diagnostic. :(

Anyway also need to get dogbone to lower the height of the bike by 45mm, I need to tip toe when sitting on the bike, btw I am 175cm. Also I think it will make the bike more stable during cornering.

Lowering links are cheap unless u want the fully adjustable ones. N have to make sure ur sidestand ok. Also the peg clearance.

Anyway, how do u find the bike so far?

I will only collect the bike from the owner next week, during the test ride the bike engine feels smooth. I checked youtube video, 270km/h is achievable for the Z750, but not sure if there are any modification.

Find the dogbone at ebay but not cheap

I think can use zx6r ones. those r going for like $15usd.

Hmmm... the video for 270km/h abit controversial leh... i think he shortened his gearing without correcting the speedo. In any case, this bike not for top speed, its the low and mid range for street. can hit 200 happy liao!

Wow so many things that I had missed out. Alen bro, got ur fork yet?

THose guys who have problem with fuel gauge is becouse of the faulty sensor.

the only thing to fix it is, change it, or bend the floater. that might work.
