2 days ago, when cornering towards alexandra, suddenly hear a metal against metal sound coming from my rear tire...

made a check but nothing was found, then e sound went away...

but then it came back again...

e sound is quite loud..

 

any1 knows what is wrong?????

 

check tire, nothing.

check brake pad, nothing.

check chain, nothing

there is no sign of any metal stuck at e rear of my bike...

 

isit my rear bearing????

Better send to bike shop to check out what happens man, I so far never hear metal rub metal sound yet :help:

i must be in luck, saw a black Z1000 along CTE towards AMK 2day, the rider should be yixi_31 if i'm right.

 

i was coming out from braddell exit, saw the bike when i was checking blindspot n acceletrated 2 catch n just nice she exiting at next exit so she slow down n gave a wave.

Hey! U seem to be spotting all the z1000 riders on the road lately.. :smile:

U are the first I've seen on the road so far since getting my zed.. Saw the headlight in the rear mirror, then i noticed the gold inverted fork.. n i thought.. THAT'S A Z1000~!! :cheer: :cheer: that's y i slowed down to see if it's anyone i know..

Quite a lucky weekend for me.. saw u today.. then yest saw an uncle on the old z1000.. It's nice to see the 'ancestor' of our dear z1000.. :smile: The one i saw didn't have the classic 4 pipes though..

orite case confirm its my rear bearing...

got 3 bearings, 2 break into 2,

had it fixed for S$85/- 2day, now its good to go..

gonna whack it later at 2nd link...

Perling Outing (Saturday, 24-06-2006)

 

Code Name: WTB, Whack the Beast

 

Meeting Place: GP Esso

 

Time: 2130hrs (9.30pm)

 

Items to take along: 1)passport 2)white card 3)cash card 4)ringgit

 

Program: We will not stay long at GP Esso, at 10pm will WTB to Perling for makan & tcss. :hungry:

 

Situations: Sir Retro will lead us to Perling for makan. However, as we all know Sir Retro is a well known 299 specialist, so just get prepare to holland in case you cannot follow him! (especially Ah Fai :help: ) Ah Fai will contact each rider in the list through handphone sms for trip cancel if the weather is not suitable for riding :goodluck:

ah fai... that one different leh.. it was a deliberate effort to meet up, not peng qiao mah... duane's the first one i peng qiao see on the road.. it's so hard to spot another z1 one the road man.. considering how many there r around in sg.. :smile:

The original rear shock is too soft liao, the Zed exhaust easliy hit the rear wheel slider when riding on bumpy road at speed or across hump. :sian:
