:btw: just curious that if our bike stationary drop, will it cause damage to our engine, example like power drop or torque drop...

Unless internally some parts is loose if not nothing will happen, you'll know it when something is wrong with your engine, the feel will be diff, not smooth, knocking sound or vibrates more than usual.. Don't tink a stationary drop can caused this type of damage.

Thanks pal, cause I drop my bike 4 times liao  But the engine is running good, thanks to the sliders :thumb: and the handle bar is still in good shape, wonder why the kawasaki parts are extra durable?

Actually the Z1000 group is very small in Singapore, I drive & ride everyday, yet seeing a Z1000 on the road is very rare.

I would say less than 20? There is also a group of Z1000 rider whom never log in SBF & seldom ride.

But that's a good point, make us rare & unqiue, I think :cheeky:

K&N filters be a problem, unless u do an airbox box mod, then maybe u need to adjust the fueling abit, nthing a PC3 and dyno can't fix.

I jus did mine at Unity, stock w K&N filter, gain 6 bhp....

alrite the bike feels smoother n accelerates better after changing the air filter. would save up 4 a PC3.

i also did the air box mod, the bike has a nice sound coming from the air box.

In my view, if you are using the original air filters, you should change them about 10000kms, but its going to cost quite a bit, if you change to K&N filters, they not only cheaper in the long run, but are also reuseable, just wash, clean and oil them. I change my oil about 5000kms and change oil filters about 10000km, so i just clean the filters at the 10000km point.

If you guys are working at dustier road, maybe you need to clean them more often.
