Passing red light cam

i was riding around 9+ in morning to work n was raining heavily.. den infront the traffic light suddenly amber.. thinking if i brake high possible of ski i decided to go.. i passed the line like 1 sec after red light den i saw a small minor flash... at tt junction there is a red light cam.. did i kena shot? i tot the flash was like a super bright one n theres a allowance of 3 secs?

frm wad i knw is allowance of 1sec frm red light..

think i saw in other threads before, allowance should be 3 sec and 2 camera flashing..

den my friend told me if kena is immediately at the first line u pass den flash le.. any 1 know on when they will flash after u cross?

the first flash is when u pass the 'first' line juz at the stop line... then 2nd flash is before the yellow box. this is wat i notice after a van tried to beat the red light and failed in yishun... honestly i dun know if there are really 2 sensors cos another time when i was travelling along jalan kayu... got 1 guy went pass the stop line... then auto got 2 flash...

 

if yours is 1 flash?? i think shld be okay lah...

 

anyways... if ur excuse is preventing skid... then TP will tell you... 'if u think u will skid, dun u think u travelling a little too fast?'

i dont tink there is allowance. ive seen many times cars kena flash, once was a car infront of me, i stop and he pass and immediately red, he kena. another time i was waiting for right turn and this car chiong red light at the opposite direction and the camera flashed as he passed. my side green arrow wasnt even on yet. good luck...

i wonder hw u get get to see so many ppl kena flashed coz in mi 2 short yrs of riding i have nv ever saw anyone kena flashed b4

some pple keep striking 4D, some just dont. simple as that.

One flash no kena. 2 flashes depends. If you are fast speed, will kena, if you are slow speed, never kena. They can check 1st flash vs 2nd flash and know how fast you go. You are fast speed, means you try to beat lights. This is what I have experienced. Even have kena flash before together with another van. Van faster than me but I never kena.

ya lor, they are not camera-shy mah..... i on average, 1 month can see at least 2 camera shots..

One thing for sure... if it during a heavy rain... cameras will flashes even without vehicles beating the red lights. It a technicals' problem!

i thou the sensors are metal sensors?? like those used in automatic gates?

juz navigate thru the website... u can check juz abt anything regarding ur vehicle...

Technically .. there will be 2 flashes everytime a vehicle beat the red light cam. The 2nd flash will come 1 second after the first flash, no matter u cross the last line of the pedestrian crossing or not. Dis is to see whether did u try to stop however hit the sensor or u simply bochap n trying ur luck to beat the cam. Normally, the cam is activated after a grace time of 1 sec after the red light is shown.

hi fellow bikers, today while travelling home, there was this bike in front of me that beat the red light, he was moving slowly across as it was going to turn green on our side.. and halfway thru, he kanna flash... i was approaching the traffic light so as it turn green i just go.. when he kanna flash, i was behind him, when i was almost reaching the center of the junction, i think i kanna flash also eventho i move on green light.. so will i kanna e red light cam? =/

 

cause it flashed 4 times and also there was 1 more bike slightly behind and beside me, will both of us kanna or only the one that beat the light..?
