Hi again fellow RVFians!Got a few questions again today.This afternoon went to Jb to pump petrol.Went over to the motordiam near shell kiosks.The smaller chinese owned shop.Surveyed some 4T cos need to change soon.Bought Motul 5100 at 27RM per bottle but the uncle gave me some discount since i bought 3 bottles.So how good is this 4T for our RVFs?OSO,the uncle offered to change oil for me but the moment i said RVF,he just shook his head.Apparently he can only change oil for Super 4.He has the oil filters,plugs,etc.Which brings me to my next question.Is there any motordiams in JB which can change engine oil for us?Anybody here did that b4?Servicing wise,i still should be done locally here.But i think it would be cheaper just to change oil in JB.You guys think so?

Motul 5100, RM27 = S$13. U can get the same price in sg. jb mech know 2B well, but comes to 2A n above. Guess they not tat knowledgeable. Whereas sg more skilled, parts easy to get. Congrat y2kredbull riding a nc-35. since u riding a 2A V4 engine bike. guess maintance cant save u much money. 2.3 litres of engine oil, 1 oil filter, 4 ex spark plug. My advice is best to do ur bike locally. juz some of my tips.

Agree.... Save yourself the anguish of everytime going in and face MASSIVE JAM, smell poisonous 2Ts, sweat like hell..just so you can change engine oil..... what for right?

 

Somemore...lez say if during servicing in M'sia..should something go wrong, they wont have the parts available to fix yr problem.

Maybe states like KL has the capability to service 400cc n above bikes but definitely not JB.

 

Our frenly advise is; Dun push your luck. Get it done here.

A number of us use Silkolene, maybe you can check that out.

i think the creeking u mention is from the rear suspension. go bike shop to grease can liao but few month later same thing so abt half year grease once can liao. cost abt $30. can try K&T located at Ubi.

is dyno jet and not dino. but for our bike is using factory jet pkus pilot jet. bike more responsive fuel consumption abt the same. cost abt $280 plus labour and everything if i nvr remember wrongly.

I remember there was once when i was travelling along Orchard, there was this matt black RVF by past my bike very closely and dangerously. It really gave me a shock i have to move away to avoid him. Dunno whether it is the same bike u are talking abt? He travelling to fast cannot see his no. plate.
