Hey people, my damned tyre cap is stuck....

i guess i tried turning it super hard to remove it...because the entire valve stem came off....with the cursed cap still stuck on it....pui!

I plugged the stupid thing back on like a cork to a bottle, to stop the leak...

Anybody had any experience like this before?...how much to do a valve stem replacement??

should be a simple procedure....since i can even remove it with my rambo like hands....

I searched the internet....and apparently its a normal thing for aluminium caps...i tried removing it late at night....the cold air while riding must have shrunked the cap by a little.... manufacturers actually recommend plastic caps actually because of this reason......tamade...

think the valve stem quite cheap maybe around $15....but the problem is need to remove the tyre or rim...can't remember exactly so the workmanship will cost a bit more....

If I'm not wrong, the tyre has to be taken out from the rim in order to change the whole valve stem assembly including the rubber thing on the rim.

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

correct.

the valve is inserted from the inside of the rim...

the only way is to cut it out....
