Hello guys jus want to know whether my suspension is faulty.Cos my chain is lose quite fast.i have jus change the chain early this yr.the brand is EK.my fren told me maybe is the suspension cause it cos my suspension is quite soft and is fully extend to the max.No sign of oil leak.check rear bearing n swing arm bush is okie.only the suspension is soft.so would like to ask it is like that or need to go for rebuilt. My bike is spec 1,i think previous owner got change the shock to older one n he coat PVC coat to the suspension to prevent rust.

Any helpers?

sorry for broken english.

Evening bro adrainleong of wsr,

have u check the limit of urs? by using the original tools ( C clamp ) to turn it

tension and if adrian already did that, instead of rebuilt ($280) jus change the

suspension oil ( $80 ) will do the job ! meantime Yes! the chain and sprocket will

loose, sharpen and stretch like bro duckit mentioned, so change or not still up to u

adrian hereby all the best to you :cheer:

Hey guys... i recently do some research on tuning front fork n rear suspension. Last 3 mnths i change my front fork oil to 15w..which is heavier n firmer ( im 100kg mah ). After trying some kornering ( air papan ) high speed testing its much more stable than stock. For rear showa i increase to 1 level and HOLA...ready to race already....hehehehhe..:cheer:

I might be slow, but im ahead of u..........

hi bro i did change to 15w and it sure feel much better but as for the rear shock i suggest u spend abit for it if u intent to really go hard on it

as we all know the orginal shock is only pre load adjustable no damping adjustment

so to say u adjusted the preload so hard if u kena bumb in a corner during hi speed only 2 things can happen

1. u shock really work and take the bump by compressing and in return it gives u a real hard and fast return force which may leads to....

2. u shock is set so hard that it do not take the bumb and........

this purely my point of view. sorri if i hard say anothing wrong

maybe i will suggest KYP with a preload lvl 4 and a demping of second click may work better for u

bro mebe depends on bodyweight..wat i know the rear suspension kinda soft, so hard front end+soft rear kinda not tally...i try this but not really comfortable after i up by one click its fine to me,depends on individual riding technic btw i use pirelli Diablo on both tyre pressure setting front 36psi back 45psi....

bro super4newbie, im not too sure of the actual size of the hole but you can remove the screw with an hex key and measure it yourself... i've removed it once to fit in my monokey rack... it's the best and easiest way... jus my 2 cents... :cheer:
