This forum has been quite ..... sigh ......cmon guys of any bikes ... feel free to chat here

Not much people like to discuss about MV here in SIN.

There are too few of it I guess.

I personally doesn't know much about bike stuff.

Hence, nothing much to ask.. only awaiting to listen...

haha.. but the front fairing there are some diff between the 04-05 ??

true it has better fairings but thats abt all ... the most stable and best ride worldwide is the 04, the 07 is not that popular due to some deficiency

no true bro..

the 04 and earlier 05 have tps probs..

recalled by yamaha..

while the 07 have throttle lag and footrests that breaks easily..

but so far yet to hear any of such complaints from our local 07 r1 riders..

the 04 to 06 models are basically the same..

both plastics and engine wise..

only diff is the 06 came wit slipper clutch(i think so but LE is confirmed) and the 06 has a longer wheelbase(longer swingarm)

it all boils down to the moo-lah and what ur looking for..

even the carb machines are powerful..

it's up to us to tame the wild beast..

:thumb:

seriously i'm a kawa lover..

my r1 was handpicked by my fiancee..

but i'm loving my ride as it is..

:D

just got confirmation..

the 06 does not come wit a slipper clutch..

only the LE model..

but the bolt on slipper clutch can be bought and fixed..

about 1.8k..

the 06 also has a slightly higher hp..

and longer swingarm..

thats the only difference u get over the 04 and 05..

hope this helps in ur selection..
