i am not sure is there a bridge at sedlili connect to tanjung leman as the area is a FELDA area .....

 

but anyway i should see u guys there if we come across....

Was there about 3 months ago and kena play out. If not mistaken, the bridge is open only for certain time. If you guys can find out more now, do please let us know so that won't be played out again. Thanks.:smile:

bridge is there alright. The view from top of bridge is fabulous. Will be posting pics soon. :smile:

:cheer: Here's the trip report you've all been waiting for. Again it was a fantastic ride, good weather all the way but return trip was nasty because it was raining & dark. We actually made a serious mistake of not following the original plan & get out of trunk road before 5pm. In fact we really depart from Penyabong at almost 6pm & half way thru, it was dark & raining.

But nevertheless I consider it to be a fruitful trip in view of the many nice scenery we visited. Also the friendship & jokes & laughter in our small little friendly group.

After breakfast in Kulai, our first stop was Tanjung Sedili Jetty , just before reaching Jason Bay.The scenery at the jetty is very beautiful From the jetty, you can see the newly constructed bridge that goes over the entire river . The bridge /road was not shown on my GPS map. Nevertheless it is a shortcut to Tanjung Leman where the secret beach is located

From Jason Bay we travel back to the junction before Tanjung Sedili then turn to the new bridge to Tanjung Leman Jetty. The view was fantastic

Now at the TanjungLeman Jetty where you can take a boat to Pulau Sibu. Saw a number of Spore cars here. From here, we think we have a glimpse from afar the secret beach. However, on the way back , we can't seems to find a path into the forest to the beach. We can see the Pulau Sibu island clearly from the jetty

From Air Papan, while on the way to Penyabong , we saw this beach & stopped to take pictures. There is a chalet for rental. The rate is I think RM120 for 2 bedroom chalet & RM60 for 1 bedroom. The place is quite secluded & safe to park the bikes inside the chalet. Also the lady boss show us the newspaper cutting of a small waterfall at the nearby hill

Along the way to Pengayabong, we stopped on top of the bridge half way between Air Papan & Penyabong. Notice in one of the photo below, you can park your bike near the beach, then walk along a narrow path of sand for about 100m to reach a small island. Its so fantastic. If i should ever come to Mersing again, I definitely will plan for this.

Then we saw Spectrum group came by. They stopped & we shook hands and took some pictures together. Nice people they are. I have always admired their adventrous spirit & read their trip reports /photos

Now I know why Penyabong is the favourite beach of all in Mersing. Here also got the picture of the hotel where some of Spectrum 's group staying overnite. The water here is very calmed because it is surrounded by small islands. From the jetty, you can actually swim across to the islands. The scenery is so beautiful.
