Cameron highlands

(Total Mileage Est. around 1200km)

Confirmation Date:6th-8th June 2008

 

 

Meeting Point: GP Esso

Meeting Date: 6th June 1230am

Meeting Time: 1230am, move 0100am SHARP

Travelling Speed: 110-120kmh

 

Accommodation: Apartments

 

Organiser: There will be no organizer that day, no tag along sessions, expect anyone to be free and easy on the trip.

 

 

How to go Cameron ???

 

Details on Going:

 

1. Meeting at gp esso

2. 1st stop at pagoh R&R shell petrol (Rd mileage 145km)

3. 2nd stop at seremban R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 272km)

4. turn left at Rd mileage 284.5km (direction to Ipoh)

5. EST. 46km journey to Y-junction than keep right to Ipoh

6. EST. 9km journey to Y-junction than keep left

7. 3rd stop at Rawang R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 440km)

5. 4th stop at Tapah R&R Shell (Rd mileage 330km)

7. Taking Tapah to Cameron

8. Cameron Highland

 

Details on Returning:

 

1. 1st stop at Tapah R&R BP petrol (Rd mileage 332km) Head count

2. 2nd stop at Ulu Bermam R&R Petronas (Rd mileage 338.7km)

3. left turn at road mileage 460km, reverse journay

4. 3rd stop at Seramban R&R Petronas (Rd Mileage 276km)

5. 4th stop at Pagoh R&R Shell (Rd mileage 135km)

6. Last stop at Galang Patah R&R petronas

 

 

P.S: Expect rain on top of cameron, pls bring rain coat and if your tires are due for change I would suggest do it before the trip. Especially to those who wanted to change tires after the trip.

 

Try not to be late. Try to sms me if you are coming late. I will wait either at pagoh(2.15-2.30am) or seremban(4.00-4.15am) R and R. All based on the estimated move out timing.

We will decide at the last R&R. Depending on the tiredness of every members. But most properly simpang pulai.....

Same place just that I foresee we should go in with at least 1/2 tank then move on to a station out of the 50km radius to pump it. We shall see how and wait for development of the news. I rather they implement a 20l petrol limit than this senseless rule....

I looked at the map of the 50km parameter...Even Kulai is included.

I would at least they should lax the petrol rule dont completely ban it.

Like 10l per vehicle or something like that....

quite simple

 

if MY ban goes by state everything in johor is out = the pump is at pagoh 150 km away from singapore both in and out

 

if MY ban goes by 50 km traveling journey in johor is up till machap 50 km away from singapore both in and out

 

Then I may have to top up in singapore , meet, in GP , and re top up at RR pagoh carry on the journey as per plan.

If it really true then guys do top up full tank before you go in. I will top up full tank and whack to pagoh after the head count. Those who need to top up at Machap

pls do it ASAP and continue the journey to pagoh.

I wonder do they really brains up there when they implement new rules.....I really wonder????
