Despatch rider's insurance?

My friend reported for work at a local pizza delivery company. He told me the company didn't provide any info about insurance and stuff. He uses the company's Honda Wave to deliver. What would happen if he gets stopped by TP or *touch wood* involve in an accident?

Most of these delivery company usually either rent or buy these bikes in bulk.

 

Thus usually the insurance policy is of the "Any rider" type and the company must settle it before your friend is allowed to ride it for the company.

nope. this kinda insurance is offered only to driving centers and delivery service companies where there's no fixed rider attached to a bike.

 

and the premium is way high!

In the past (1990s), I'm very sure you can buy this "Any Rider" policy for any bike so long as you can pay the high premium like what aRcHeR mentioned but I'm not sure about now... Maybe the insurance companies or the regulatory body decided to amend it...

last time when i was 16 just pass my 2b can't buy bike cos too young

 

so i used my mum name to buy then insurance buy 3rd party with any rider

 

abt not more than 300
