Hi,

I would like to find out more about the riding experience and maintenance cost of this bike. Tried asking the Aprillia Riders in sportsbike but no response from there! :confused: So are there any Tuono 1K riders in SBF? If there very few riders, want to understand izzit becos it is $$$$$ or aprilia is inferior in some way or parts are $$$ and hard to find.

We have a guy in our group who rides one.

Sounds bloody lovely with the aftermarket Akropovic system.

So far so good although it's been down once but it seems pretty robust and it's fully kitted out standard with frame sliders etc.

Only made a bit of a mess of the exhaust.

Noe one uncle riding since yr04 And osos heard from him tat he brought cos 3 of his fren buy together from mah.somemore all uncle.

 

Ya saw the one @ 2nd storey, the Tuono 1000 factory. Nice. all carbon fiber. hugger, fender, the side, head fairing. 36K. but belong to ppl liao. haiz...

used to hv the baby version but sold already and still miss it. hardly c the baby version but the big bro i hv seen a few and 2 hmm uncles at mah motor the other time :smile:

yep the one i saw OTR is an uncle. riding out from the MHA junction at balestier rd. 36K is for the matt black version rite? the normal version shd be 20+K. just dunno the maintenance cost of this bike. anyone can help?

hmmm.. maintainence wise should b abit izier den ducati...

but do bear in mind.. the parts r from italy... so the price is oso ard there...

accessories wise... can try from mah or import urself...

ebay seems to carry some of them too.. do check it out...

wat i feel is dat.. if u got the $$ n luv for the bike... do go 4 it...

italian r juz... italianz.. duno hw to sae...

 

a pity i am a poor man... haiz.. not fated to own such machines... :weep:

there seems to be not much young people riding the tuono. saw one for sale at mah. wanted to purchase it but too late. was bought over. at 18 for 2nd hand having 8k mileage, its a good buy. settled for fazer intead. haizz... its ok... miss da vtwin sound.. :)

just got my 2b...my new tuono 125 hitting the road on Monday

Apr-08 to Feb-10 Aprilia Tuono 125

Feb-10 to May-11 Suzuki GSR 400

May-11 to Oct-11 Ducati 848

Current Triumph Street Triple R....loving it
