normally for me, my idling is about 1 to 1.25, which seems to be ok according to a mechanic.

its normal for it to go up and down, but just abit! Not so much!!

Nothing to worry about, its normal. provided your bike doesnt die in the middle of the expressway ah.

When at neutrel, can try to turn ur throttle to rpm to 3k or 4k then stay there... see if it will fluctuate. if it does, most like is ur carbs.

Correct me if i am wrong pls.

had washed n tuned b4. still the same. if there's any defective part in the carb sure they will ask me to change wan. my previous owner oso told me that when he bought it 1st hand, already like that liao.

after warm up, more stable... still will fluctuate but not as bad as cold start... then i got install revtec oso, had managed to keep the idling stable. :cheer:

so now can feel its not as bad as just bought the bike. more or less better... mayb next time i service my cards again, i ask them to check throughly the parts again lor...

my friend just went to the mechanic den he just used his hand to increase the idle.. it was 0.8 den now its about 1.25 like that..

dun think need to tune carb and all.. i mean tune & wash carb is only to reduce yr FC and other stuff..

just ask the mechanic to turn the idle up..

hope this sh*t helps..

yup... if just right 1000rpm for idling, if it fluctuate abit, the engine kill itself so have to adjust abit higher... i believe different bikes will have different settings. like human, every human is different. same goes to bikes...

The water pump and oil pump might not be working at the recommended speed as well. Esp in stop and go traffic in Singapore...

Engine might not be in correct warmup temperature during cold start...

Sounds normal... if u referring to starting your bike in the morning.

yah.. during morning..

do urs oso sounds like gonna die during morning?

Posted

It's like that. That's why we need to warm the engine up. Especially in the morning. When you give a quick throttle before warm up, the response of the engine is not good. Like choking like that.

Your bike seems to be ok.. no problem... :cheer:
