Spacers? You mean the one you put in the rear shocks to increase the preload?

Adding spacer might look nice or rather raise the whole bike ass... but there is 2 things to consider after tat.

1=> higher arse means cornering more dangerous... CG raised...

2=> Higer tension on the chain and spocket... Got old birds say their chain and spocket wear out .. even to the extend of SPOILT ... faster... so pp.. change at your own risk!!!! :goodluck:

You got me wrong. Spacers are no the ones you add at the bottom of your shock to raise the whole tail up.

For spacers, you have to remove your shocks, remove the spring, replace the spring. This way, the height of the tail remains the same, just that it is now capable of supporting my weight without giving way on me. If you' re light and you sit my bike, you would find that the bike's a little higher cos you do not have the weight to compress the spring further. For me, 117kg, just nice.

Attached is a pic of the space on my bike. It's only 1/2 inch but it's = to the highest setting on a stock shock.

This is my bike view from far with the spacer. The tail is not raised. CG is definitely not higher and cornering is so much stable as i am not crushing down on the shocks anymore.

So everyone, there's a difference between and SUSPENSION SPACERS and RAISERS.

SPACERS increase preload, RAISERS raise your tail.

Please also check out this thread.

So ppl, do not jump to conclusion with just one post. There might be many other useful post out there. Do not because of a post, change your mind about a modification or a new bike, when they could actually be good for you.

But.. how will add tension to the chain? related meh? at most i tink only the lifespan of the sidestand will shorten cos bike will be more slanted thus adding more weight to the sidestand.. not so??

The chain tightens when your bike is compressed. That's why when you go tighten your chain, you must have a 1" of freeplay.
