nope, i wanted to get those aftermarkets bar for my s4.. like renthal or pro taper.. but not over size one la.. haha

Oh the Handlebar! Got it at Universal Motors at BB... Brand is Driven.... Dey have 2 sizes, one is de long one and de other is normal length... I got de shorter length as I don want to compromise on not squeezing thru btw vehicles!!... Cost was $110.

I see, can I ask is it a must to drill the holes to secure ur 2 control swiches? Did u saw ur mechanic drill any holes on ur handlebar?

Yo, No he didn't drill any holes... but it was along time ago and I can't rememver actually!

i tink if compare to stock bar.. there is holes for the switches.. same goes for aftermarket bar... must have holes... unless use glue which is not stable la.,.

I see, haha didn't notice stock bar got holes.. Really need go take out the switch and explore.. Lol.. Still hesistate whether to get a not.. Lol wide or remain short?

wider got it bad pt... i personally felt if wider, split lane quite difficult.. and i heard from 1 guy, doing U-turn also abit challenging... so ya.. ahaa

Stock bars have holes for switches?

 

There isn't any holes on the handle bars for switches and not suppose too.

 

The only "hole" i can think of is the inner wall tube which is hollow.

 

 

If travelling long distance, not adviceable to use those long bars as the whole journey might not be comfortable and will wear out the rider due to it's awkward handling and position.

YES, u need to drill hole for the switches, if not ur switches will twist around when u wanna signal and it will not close up nicly on the handle bar.

and yes, stock bar have holes too, their at the 'under-side'

for those who wanna change bar, my advice is just do it!

it take a bit more skill n ball to squeeze between car,

But, think of those class2 sportbike, their mirror is longer and trust me, you will smile to yourself when doing corner

Hi all, its coming to the end of the year and I'm planning to do some servicing for my Spec1.

 

1)Change Coil

2)Rectifier

3)Battery

4)Clutch plate

5)Friction plate

6)Clutch cable

7)Steering Cone

8)Service Fork/Dust Cover

9)Throttle Cable

10)Front brake pad

11)Engine Oil

12)Plugs

13)Oil n Air filter

14)Flush Coolant

 

Anyone can give an estimate on total pricing and recommended workshop to go. Thanks in advance.

I did not cut the bar. at first i got think of it. but i get use to the length, so jus use lo.

hmmmm sorry I'm not using any coocase on my bike, by right once its installed there should be gap between the baseplate and bike tail.
