I m considerin buyin a kup kia, any1 hv any idea how much does a new insurance cost ? per year? if i buy a 2nd hand bike, does that mean i either hv to buy a new insurance or add as a sub rider huh? cannot use existing insurance until road tax expired, then renew meh?

From the information you provided, its quite hard to judge how much one will cost. The cost will defer depending on the bike model, capacity, brand, age of bike, age of biker, experience of biker and duno what else.

 

For riders aged under 20, i think there is a premium of $100

For P-plate riders, i think there is another premium of $150

or isit the other way round. not very sure. but sure got premium for both

 

secondly, why would you want to add sub rider to current owner if you going to get a second hand bike? In the eyes of law, the old owner can ride off with your kup cuz he got insurance. Correct me if im wrong

 

And i think that insurance now depends on the youngest/most inexperienced rider, so adding subrider will cost as much. again, correct me if im wrong

From what i recall when i purchase, the lady told me below 20 got premium. So i guess after your 20th birthday no more premium and save money.

But still better to call and ask to comfirm. better than go there then paiseh when wrong info

if u over 21 u p plate still got to pay extra 150. below 20 is plus 100 plus 150 so is additional of 250 above the actual insurances price.. exp. now wave 110cc age 20 - 350 + 250 = 600
