Great outing yesterday.... I have never seen so many DNA at once. Thank you all for the nice comment on my bike and all the advice . I really enjoyed the outing. Lets do it again....hahaha.....

Great outing guys! I learnt alot about technical stuff. Spy662, is it possible to tell me what is the best belts again? I dont want to waste $$$ again. I think I will be going to get some stuff from the piaggio agent, a tranny case air intake cover, and a set of stock suspension, the ones I got on now a bit too thick, and are knocking on the airbox and such.

 

By the way Bryon, what was that again to polish the parts? I saw a few at Home Fix.

ya , our meetups are few and far between.

 

Dan maybe u take up the task of organising the future meet ups, kopi session and such.

Bukit timah if most are still in the west area, would be great cos i am usually there for dinner/supper.:smile: :cheer:

guys any dna have got the coolant cap leaking problem

 

seems that my coolant is leaking ,around cap, not sure whether not tighten properly or cap problem.

 

replacement how much? anyone??:giddy: :giddy:

If you buy one, can get me one too? It got so bad that when riding today, I realised I got almost no coolant in the system anymore!

then confirm liao lah, thats what happened to my bike, just top up 1 litre,scarry leh thought there is a leak somewhere, but coolant cap area bluish after riding, come come mass order.:cheeky:

cap price $15-$20, but ah some shops say could be due to busted water pump $160-$180.

 

how to confirm cap spoil or water pump.:giddy:

 

maybe going down to kallang tomorrow

Open up and see if coolant container water is flowing...water pump go usually got tick tick noise....

daniel juz go for the cheap orginal belt will do...give it a try might work wonders at times..

 

anyway my scoot is dwn again aft the meetup...itz now resting itself in the workshop awaitng to be strip to the bone.
