What's this craze/ fad about fixing a DNA head to their bike?? Seems like alot of ppl have enquired about it... Is it really THAT nice? I tot LAB's got fiercer-looking heads for sale?

Anyway, like spidey said, I guess only piaggio has it.. My advise is dun bother.. Cos it'll be expensive and not forgetting to mention the headlight!! I heard it costs a limb..

If its for the sake of buying it to mod onto other bike, its a total waste of money.. Unless you manage to get yr hands on a used one.. But then again, its far and few to come by.. Cos its that rare a bike in sg...

Cheers

Heyz,

That is a good idea. DNA's outing to track. But I think the challenge is whether the DNA's can make it! Think mine must pump gas about 3 times...

Cheers...

Haha.....i think mine pump at every gas station along the way...haha..

Anyway...i've got my leaky overflow pipe fixed....

Guess wat...now it doesn't leak from below anymore....

But the pump nozzle doesn't 'jump' either....

So the first time i 'test' the fixed pipe....fuel splashed out from the top...

haha....at least i know the bike doesn't wet the whole floor....only wet me....hahaha...

Bro, maybe its air in your rad?? When the air's dislodged, the coolant level drops.. So you tot kena 'eaten' lor... If yr engine oil doesn't get murky, it shouldn't be leaking internally.. Although oring modded heads have known to leak coolant la..

Ya, I meant gearbox oil.. If not murky, then its not leaking from bottom end, or seals/ orings from bottom end.. It could only be top end.. Check your pistion crown.. If its leaking into yr combustion chamber, you can tell from your crown.

There's quite a few reports of oring modded heads leaking coolant.. Usually solved by simply applying gasket glue...

Cheers

Heyz,

TwisterX, how much you paid to get the pipe fixed? Or is it still under warranty? Hehe, ok, maybe I exaggerate about the challenge. But remember my bike full tank only 6 or 7 litre because of the leaky fuel line. Can get at most about 150km.

Cheers...

What's a "sai tao" by the way? Is it the plastic cowling for the head lamps?

Well...i put the whole nozzle in all the way into the hole....aahh......*Grinz*

But if I press the fuel pump all the way....like pumping car...fuel will splash out immediately from the top....cos hole too small...and 'liquid' pressure too large...

So have to depress the pump gently....maybe that's why the pump sensor cannot detect the fuel when it's full..

Well...the last time i pumped....it still had two blinking bars left and i managed to pump about 7L before i got slightly wet...

Nevertheless....the tank was fully filled....could even see the fuel from the gasoline hole....

Now decreased by 2 bars...and i went about 66km already.... Looking good.....

(maybe dun have to pump at every station to PG now...hahaha....)

Well, mine's still under warranty though....so lucky me...

Anyway...i spotted a blue DNA at the piaggio service centre also....

Left a note on the IU unit....

Very dirty bike and looking very dusty and old...

But the plate's "FY"....dunno why so dirty and rusted....

Couldn't be that the bike is renewed and it's 10yrs old right?

Not exactly the same la.. Its got a 'scrambler styled' handlebars, 15inch rims (ours' 14inch), new rims design, bigger front brake disc etc.. Of course not forgetting to mention different colour scheme with everything in gold and black! Nice touch on that!

TAG states that its running 15inches rim, but webby sates 14inch(??).. So dunno who's correct on that one..

But in anycase, dun think we'll see it here. Cos only 50cc.. No market.

Cheers..

YES! You're correct, too much pressure, pump stops. Too little pressure, the pump won't stop!! Ha. So must be in between.. Not so light till it'll overflow..

Ha, the Art of Topping Up Gas vol 1 is out.. Ha, anyone wanna buy?? ha.
