Ya,

I wanted to buy a sports bike, but sadly, I think class 2B sports bikes will be just a waste, might as well wait a year, and then get a class 2A one...

Cheers...

P.S. Hope u find a new frame soon!

thanks bro.. well i think a 2b one to train yr handling 1st will be good... if u get a 2A one then might be dangerous if u don know how to handle the power... for yr info the bikes at bbdc is much lower powered then other 2a bike for the fact that its a 250cc four stroke.... :cheeky:

Well...personally, I feel that for a sports bike, it'd have to be at least 2A for it to deliver enough power and stability. Moreover, I realised that many of the class 2B sports bikes have very thin tyres (width)...dangerous....Eg. Kips etc.

I've tried speed trials with a Yamaha Diversion 900cc and personally, I feel that it could really do stuff a 2A can never do.... :cheeky:

i tried mv augusta, r1 carb version, r6 carb version, gsx600 k4 and haya... i feel the 1000 and 1300 r too large for fun at track... r6 feels nicer but the pulling force is sort of equal to a rs250modded... dun realy think they provide better stability when u have more power on hand... u need good throttle control to ride it well..

Eh eh eh... ALL :offtopic: :offtopic:

Ha!! Since I can't beat you all, I join you guys... While your at it, I'd think that rs125 is pwerful enough already.. If you can "RIDE TO THE LIMIT OF YR BIKE!" (god-speak), you are capable of touching timings in the regions of 1:50++.. That's bleeding fast. If its setted up (modified) properly, it'll be pretty powerful say like in the neighbourhood of 30++ real bhp. And speed in excess of 180kph. Parts are expensive, but not difficult to find. But compared to big jap bikes, I dun think its any more expensive then them... And much much simpler mechanism also.. So less parts to fail and worry about. Cheaper labour charges also, as its easier to work on compared to 4strokes. Shorter maintenace interval though..

2A bikes are good enuff also la.. Personally my fav are still the 250 strokers.. Their power delivery's sweet... Although not as powerful and pack as much grunt as a big cc sportsbike, its not as big and heavy either. What they lack in bhp, they made up in handling.. Razor edge handling. That said, these days I must admit that 600s have gotten down to size and agility of a 400 or 250 (well, only almost). A nicely done up one ala Spidey's should fetch 65 real bhp at least.. Up to a max of 70+ to 80bhp. That's more powerful then any other 4 stroke bikes in terms of bhp to cc ratio..

Class 2... ha. lol. I dunno what to say about them... hee... Never rode one b4 in my nearly 10yrs of riding. Powerful lor.. But never thought about riding one.. Im a safety rider, dun speed.. So not much use for me except bigger petrol bills, bigger maintenance bills, bigger insurance/ roadtax bills, and ultimately bigger egos lor.. Ha. Joking on the last part..

stroker >> i think those for rear wheel hp u toking about... brake hp is at crank mah...

No la... BHP means Brake Horse Power. Its a measurement for power. Other units include ps etc..

But BHP doesn't mean horsepower at the crank. BHP can be measured at the crank. And typically it should be 15% lower at the wheels. Dyno calculate bhp at the wheels. So is all the other units of measurement for power. It all can be measured from crank or at the wheels...

Cheers!

not sure of the procedure but i think need to heat it and do watever neccessary...

Bro, be really careful with alloy... Seriously... Coz when alloy is heated, it loses its strength by a HUGE degree!! They'll be terribly weak with they're not re-treated adequetely before/after..

They'll crack easily in its weakened state...

ya i know.... the structure changed inside... i dunno is it the same for alu as for steel.... the major part is how long and how it is cooled when its heated up to a temp where the structure will change....
