The engine was sent to Australia to be blueprinted. The conrods are Titanium Carillo Rods. Gapless piston rings Chrome Moly. Pistons are moledenum coated, forged. Whatever that can be done are all done. cc'ed etc etc.... cost me both an arm and a leg.

I put screwdrivers in my DNA (underseat compartment) counted or not?? heehee.. Prices vary for the malossi carb. Ranging from a $500-ish excluding installation to $650-ish including installation.

Yours is a Spec CcccCCcccCCccc ma.. ha! Bro, thinkin of changing to the 2.5l 5JJ or 5JI or not? My fren thinkin of buying one in ShangHai.. But prices there a little steep.. And he's contemplating btwn rx8 (to pose) or a 5JJ. But I think a 5JJ will tear the 8 to pieces..ha.

Don't waste time on a RX8 unless you intend to put in a triple rotary 20B. Else, the standard Renesis engine, even a base 225PS Normal WRX will tear the bugger like tissue paper.

 

Tell your friend, forget the 2.5 variants. The engines are way oversquared and they can't really take abuse. The 2.0 STi's, many in Shanghai will be a safer bet.

Oh is it? Ha. I was misleaded by the advertising effort that the 2.5l will be way better cos of the fattier bottom/ mid range. Ya, should have guesssed that with the bigger bore, it should be much more fragile..

I am only joking guys. Hmmm, honestly I never really like the RX8, first it is a Mazda, I am so bias and brand conscious. The WRX is a nicer ride honestly, a tad more spacious, and I was convinced after falling in Special C's car.

nope i stayed with my 15/43... my top speed in pg is 195km but my top in sepang is only 196km... i think should be able to reach 200km the next time... quite confident i will shed another 5 sec if i am doing timing by myself... we'll see how... intend to join the coming aprilia cup if possible... my time place me in 7 or 8 place
