Wow, one lens' coooool.. Have you bought the light yet? Halogen ones? Bright enough or not?? How much you paid? Including paint? Tell me leh! Cos I also wanna put a one projector lens headlinght in my 125z...

 

Oops, I don't mean I only care abt 0-100.. ha. I don't quite care about 0-100 also.. What I meant, I gauge how well my bike goes by the rpm. How it goes tru the rpm. And how hard it pulls and till what rpm. Its easy (kinda) to build an 125 to reach 200 just by gearing it super high. On a damn long straight, a slight down slope, and perhaps a little back wind, you'll reach there eventually. But that's gonna take ages. While a damn powerful track bike might just be clocking in at that speed only. Cos as you know, its about pulling away from corners in a track, not top speed. So I personally think its kinda stoopid (I don't mean anything & not refering to anyone) to measure performance base on eventual top speed. Top speeds to me, are just how you want them to be. Side-by-side, as long as I win the bugger next to me, I'll be happy (regardless how much is my top speed). I guess it all boils down to who get there quicker, not the eventual speed.

i got the head from ebay around 60 bucks for a fibre one and 25 bucks for the light... its quite bright and has a pilot light too... i brought the things to jb and do it for 200riggit with a mat black paint. wat u think? o the shipping was 120bucks but i bought 2 head fairings... one will be fully fibred for race. haha

 

Well on the track u can win with a lesser powered motor if your skill is good mah... we wanna eliminate all the external factors so that its a fair experiment. with human in the pic got weight, skill and linings so its not really fair. u know wat i mean?

Damn.. Bro.. Im lost!! haha! You bought 2 head cowlings for 60 bucks each, right? Shipping 120 right? So the 200 rm is for patching up one of the cowling for the projector lens, and another fully patched for race, am I right? And jb shop sprayed it into matt black for you? Hope I got it all deciphered correctly..

 

Na, you got me wrong on the top speed part. I don't mean skill and human factor la.. ha. When I said "I guess it all boils down to who get there quicker, not the eventual speed.", I actually meant on a straight, whoever gets up to their top speed first, wins. Not the one with the higher eventual top speed but will take donkey ages to get there. hee..

 

I totally agree a lesser power bike might win at the track. It all depends on rider. I can't make it, I need to install Big Ball Kit!! hahaha!

wat do u think? its only the trannies... that guy quote dry clutch with cr gears for 1300usd! ex?

Sounds a little steep........ You refering to the one on ebay now? Anyway, although its a little steep, but most guys in uk reckon its worth every penny if you race.. Cos such parts are getting so rare these days..

 

But on the bright side, there's always aftermarket value for these kind of stuffs.. So I suppose you won't lugi alot even when you wanna sell it off a couple of yrs down the road.

 

I also just gotten myself a set of cr gears for my 125z and a total-loss magnet and CDI set, some renthal sprockets and some other sweet bits .. My bank acc getting slimmer by the day.

 

So how? Interested in getting yrself a cub and race at the kallang cub prix?
