I'm interested to get this jacket as well. Went to Regina and this guy (short hair, tall, wear specs), quote me $180 and he is not interested to even drop a dollar. I saw from other forums that someone bought from them at $160.

 

Regina quoted me $240 for the camouflage design one.

 

Anyway if you are buying, can jio me also? Thanks.

I've been using their JetStream mesh jacket for the past four years, it's still in acceptable condition for that age.

 

Although the foam CE armor has degraded, the mesh material is still quite ok despite multiple washes.

You should be glad if they quote u 180.00 for a normal mesh jack.

 

Motoworld's price tag is 200/- nett before 1st of July 2007.

 

You can get a better price if you get more things from them & know more about them

bro... the grey and black looks darm good... if you planning to get one pls inform me coz i am interested and btw what the price for that???? here is the plan.... if i were to get that jacket what i would do is change the padding coz to me personally i would prefer uding the hardshell instead of foam type.... reason because, previously i used to have dainese jacket and it was darm good but too bad i need to let it go.... then i change to rjay, its good but the padding doesn't really impressed me so like i said i will change the padding and get the hardshell type and if they can reduced the price by minusing the padding would be better... so bro keep me inform....thanks

All eldow shoulder amour are CE approved hard amour...

regina going at 170

the back protector is foam lah non CE....

but to get the CE approved back protector is additional $30 as said b4....

today at Motorworld i saw a jacket which looks like the below. Looks very nice - grey & black color scheme. It comes with all the hard armours - spine, shoulder , elbow & even ribs. I am reaally impressed. The material used is combination of mesh & schoeller keprotec. This combination is better than the cordura/mesh combination many times. Below is a extract from the manufacturer of this material. Its similar to kevlar aramide material used in making bullet proof vest.

The plus point about this jacket is it got rib armour - even the more expensive jackets such as alphinestar & Dainese & Spidi dun have such rib armour. I had a rib fracture accident before - and ribs are very small & fragile bones. They 're easy to fracture & makes it painful for you to lie down or breath hard or even sneeze. Furthermore, its got schoeller keprotec materialwhich is 5 times stronger than stainless steel ;weight for weight. And speaking about durability, i personally owns a rstaichi 100% mesh jacket for 1 year. After throwing inside washing machine for washing machine every week for 1 year - there is no damage or broken sewing at the seams.
