Need Help Immigration Matters

Hey ok i recently went to JB to do up my bike. Was in JB till bout 6AM. Ok so as i left the shop head back to JB went to caltex pumped full tank and went on, BUT i notice tonnes of bikes heading to singapore goin for work la. So i juz follow them coz i saw some singapore bikes, Then suddenly i juz followed blindly was concentrating on the stupid pot holes and then I ALREADY WAS ON THE CAUSEWAY...... GOIN IN TO SINGAPORE. Didnt chop my passport at JB side. When i went to singapore customs they juz check my book then typed down my bike number. Any1 have any idea how do i resolve this? Singapore side didnt stop me from goin in singapore.

 

Please if some1 can help, coz worried to go back in JB now.

you can actually tell SG customs you forgot to chop passprt, they'll let you back in to chop.

 

but then now you in SG liao...you may have a problem nextime you enter JB.

Call up the immigration to guide you on what you need to do now.

Ok what my frien did to get his passport stamp is that he enter jb at 1am thru 2nd link just go straight don't chop.2nd link usually no custom standing accept for the 2 immigration guys in thier booth..he just follow the malaysian bike .then u turn get his passport chop.Of coz b4 he go straight his friend bike reccce 1st check for any spot check ahead.

 

You can follow this at your own risk. Just don't throw ur white card.

i recently also encountered such a problem. I went in without chopping out twice and finally got my passport choped out the 3rd time i went in.i went back into malaysia the next time normally. chop my passport in , chop my passport out. they didint even ask me any questions or stop me etc. if they ask you anything. Just tell them the truth. 1 advice- the next time you go back in, ask more people to go with you, they can help you if anything doesnt go smooth.

happened to me twice, when i going back to sg at odd hours 3-4am the malaysian custom booth was closed... how to chop? the next time i went in, nuthing happened

Call Malaysian Embassy and tell them what happened. I almost had similar situation last month. Then I stoped my bike at causeway and walked back to JB Immigration. It is very easy to sneak in on the 2nd Link but if you get court you will end up in jail.

 

I personally do not recommend you to take such risk no matter how easy it is. I'm sure you are not the only one that forgot to stamp your passport at exit.
