Dropped my new bike battery while changing it. zzz

Hi, I dropped my bike battery while changing it, from pillion seat to kiss floor, Sharp corner of the battery deformed and had been rounded pretty much.

 

However I would really wish to avoid buying another new one as I had not even used more than 1 min on this current one at this point of time. I try changing to it anyway, and it works properly, my bike starts the next instant, but question is, will it be safe in the long term? will the battery lifespan be affect? so do i have to charge it more regularly now?>

short answer is if nothing leaks, you're good to go, including the batt's lifespan. but be sure to check regularly next few days immediately after ride to see any traces of leakage at the damaged area.

If scared leak acid, then take out, wrap in plastice bag, then put back in lor.

u mean put one plastic bag inside my bike battery holder pouch to contain any leak acid??

Yes.

 

Take out the battery, put the whole battery in a plastic bag and tie up with the wires sticking out of the tied plastic bag then put the battery back into the battery compartment of the bike.
