havent been there 4 a long time but i heard its still there la..

I remember in 1989, a friend of mine gave me and another friend, a treat at Arnolds. He bought 2 spring chicken and some other side dishes as well. The three of us gobbled up the food. Damn shiok! I can still recall the oil from the fried chicken and the chicken skin in my mouth.

 

Upon reaching home after the treat, I slept. At around midnight, I woke up feeling ill and nauseous. The moment I stepped into the toilet, all the food that I had, got vomitted out. Eversince that day, I don't eat the Arnolds chicken so much cos the smell reminds me of that incident. Now I only go for the ice cream ice kacang there...

another 1 along i tink yiochukang... tink its called artha.. reli cant rem, e mee kuah, maggie mee goreng cooked mee kuah's sauce, tissue... nice! cos i ate tissue at lots of places all put sugar... but dis 1 they put honey which is beri rare...

 

*sometime's good sometimes's bad, some ppl might tink they tastes normal.. haha

But make sure you got at least 2 other guys to eat with you.

Anyone tried Makan Shiok! at Blk 508 Jurong West St 51?

I used to have regular breakfast on Sunday mornings there with my family.

The variety of food is wide but I'm stuck with the Nasi Ayam Penyet there, though I must say the chilli is damn spicy.

Lucky Plaza - Nasi Ayam/Beef Penyet - the best penyet ever eaten.

Thong Seng - Great Chinese Halal Food, Fish Soup etc.

Jurong Teh Tarik - Beef Fried Rice - Favourite

Western - so far i only went to the Clementi Ave ? near the drain end. cheap.

 

Just to name some.

Adam Food corner near along serangoon.

Kg Glam Cafe Kandahar St

Bedok Corner

Spize at River Valley Rd

Sembawan road also got good food.
