yea once he came in for the sunderland game,he really settled the midfield didnt he..i still think he has a lot to offer liverpool.rafa shouldnt sell him...

Yes,

we were performing badly, especially in the 1st half.

2nd half was no better, although Mido's team woke everyone up.

I think the problem was in the attacking strategy.

We were pumping too many long balls forward and hoping for the best.

LFC were more successful in ground passing and managed to get more shots / attempts on goal from direct attacks via passing.

 

But, important is, we still won away and at home in our first 2 games, as compared to having to draw the FIRST game, at HOME (i.e. Theatre of Dreams) to..... of all teams....., Newcastle.

Hopefully he can make 2-for-2, scoring in LFC's FA-Cup quarter final win over MUFC 2 seasons back and hopefully scoring to help Pompey win over MUFC....

once again...gerrard to the rescue...this is how championships are won...even though you play badly but you're still able to get the 3 pts..

After watching the repeat telecast, i thot Liverpool didnt play that badly. They had several chances espcially 2 from torres and one from keane in the 1st half.. 2nd half, the players upped their tempo and got the goals which i thot was deserving. Anyway, upz to Middlesbrough players whom were playing very well.. closing down Liv players and thus affecting the team's tempo.

 

At the end of the day.. its the 3 points that matters. :bounce:
