Hi all..

 

I have been ridng on the streets like a fool all these while..

And damn i paid a hefty price.. Hahah..

Revoked my license..

 

I just got back my license and i wanna learn how to enjoy my bike legally.

 

My current ride is a 400cc GSR.

 

And i wanna track..

Anyone there able to guide me.

Even the most basic will be appreciated..

Like where to go.. what to bring.. where to pay or book..

Or anything like that..

Browned, I am glad you realised that it is much safer (and legal) to ride fast on the track. The street is full of dangers and you could lose not just your license, but even your life. Stay safe!

 

As much as I want to go track in this nice dry weather, I just sold my bike last week and haven't bought another. Once I do and get accustomed to the new ride, I will go again. Other track bros on this forum may be able to bring you there as well.

Does track day means a so-called friendly race? I keep seeing the term track days being differentiated from sessions for PG circuits.

 

Yes, track days are cheaper (3 hours special rate) and there is a 5-lap race at the end of the session. Friendly or not depends on who's on the grid that day. It can be quite chaotic. I personally avoid track days.

I see. So, track day consists of a 5-lap race. How about using the track on normal days at your own pace? What do people call such sessions?

Lol I went there by myself on my proper virgin track experience last Monday. Almost went back when I first reached and heard all the sports bike unleashing their power on the main straight.

 

But glad I stayed and played for one hour on my versys.

 

Sincerely apologize if I pissed any of the riders that day..

Haha... Think this Saturday I'm gonna piss people off too. Anyway, on the 12th is a track day so I'm hoping not a lot on the day before.

Oh yea. Could be.. But anyway use your rear view mirror and don't change paths suddenly. If the faster guys are coming close, I use the outer line and let them have the inner line of the corner.

Make sure your bike is tip top too! Especially tires!

Thanks for the tips. My bike is about 80%. Coe gonna expire. If I do crash badly, I would scrap the bike there and then. Haha.... Only need a lift back to the customs.... Haha
