this mornz go to work kerna bits of flying tyre debris fr a car w puncture tyre travelling on 2nd lane. must hv driven for quite a distance b4 e bits came ripping off. doesn't he feel his steering v heavy when his tyre punctures and shd hv moved to rd shoulder instead of staying 2nd lane?

 

come bk fr work, kerna one jackass smoking and flicking ashes and all flying towards me. not only tat he was lane hogging

 

lucky i was wearing a riding jacket otherwise sure kerna

today while riding i got wet .. totally wet on ECP. was rushing to avoid the rain but it all came down on me at national sailing centre.

took shelter near big splash to change over to my all weather army gortex jacket. and off i go.

I hope you signalled. I was on Sims Ave one evening and did the same thing. I had signalled beforehand and since I was genuinely turning left, it helped. Also I slowed down to yell at the man in white that I was turning left and I gestured that I was turning left. He looked behind to be sure I turned. Thankfully I turned. So far now summon. That was months ago.

i think there is perfectly nothing wrong with driving/riding in bus lane when you are going to turn left... don't even have to tell them.. if kena summon, just say that you are unsure of the traffic conditions and to play safe, you filter to left lane early.. They are using video mode to catch ppl, so i think with signal on, it's perfectly safe..

Regularly in the afterneeon between 5PM & 7PM the "officer" with camera is also on Slegie Rd Between Middle and Bt Tima Rds. Saw him take my photo a few months back but I never received a summons. Now every day I check to see if he is there first before heading up the bus lane to turn left.

 

Even if turning left should only move into the bus lane when the yellow line is broken otherwise can still be charged. Trouble is broken part of the yellow line is two close to the left turn and usually already jammed with cars turning left so have to move in earlier. Do you know what the penalty is for riding in the bus lane?

Yesterday while riding along PIE, me along lane 2 cruising at 80 or 90 in lane 2when the limit was 80 before the speed cam area after BKE... Taxi filtering in from BKE... Always so fierce one the cars from BKE... Taxi from lane 3 signal want to come into lane 2. Me signal and move to lane 1 and accelerate to make room for the taxi to come into lane 2, cause it would be tight. Then taxi driver one shot cut into lane 1, causing me to brake moderately and close throttle to avoid collision as i aborted the overtake early. Despite high beaming him with a flash, he did not abort his overtaking. he could have, but chose to make a complete lane change and i had to defend myself. Just immediately after, saw bright high beam coming from the rear. So bright i thought it was two lights, thought a car high beam me. WTF... Approaching speed cam want me to siam ah? Turned out to be a Hayabusa with high beam on... cut from my right and on ahead. No prob with that la.. Normal. But whats with the high beam on all the time? flash can liao mah. A bit pissed liao. After the speed cam, switch on my high beam witha roughly 2 second rule behind both the Haya and taxi who now both together half second apart. Super 4 high beam not bad la. Was wondering how long they can tahan. After about 30 seconds i think, Haya squeeze away and taxi go lane 4. Didn't give a sh*t if the 8 or ten cars in lane 2 got irritated. Just too bad.

just now 3 sports car along old west coast road were kinda playing w each other, one almost cut into my path kaoz! one of e car behind me almost blinding me w e freaking bright head lamps. traffic light opp side got TP, they move off slowly kns want to play scared TP

Anyway... I rode to the bank just now... its not funny. Air temperature was about 43 degrees C.

No. Its all dry heat. Humidity here is extremely low...you are pespiring but you don't feel the wetness coz it dries up instantly. Desert dry heat.

 

The origin of beef jerky is from here. They season thin slices of beef and then put it out in the sun to dry.

 

Tomorrow it is going to hit 45 degrees Celsius.

Almost got killed by a trailer on the way home say 80 minutes before I sent this post. Was on Adam Road going into the slip road to Adam Road Hawker Centre when the trailer slowly got into my path to use the slip road without signalling!

 

I pulled back and waited to see what the driver would do and as expected, he glided his multiple-wheeled machine into my path! I could have gone but my brain was saying

 

"Nah, beach bars will get in the way. Pull back!!!"

 

So I did.

 

At the traffic lights. I turned around to look at the driver. He's a skinny and weary middle-age man and he was looking at his passenger side mirror.

gohjohan they always seem to take it for granted tat all vehicles will give way due to their sheer size. always come across such giants esp this area is pasir panjang and AYE. they would even just dash out fr give way filter lanes and expecting u to siam them even when u r oncoming.

wow... just like a desert but you have water supply there... can "feel" the heat...
