wah, i dont want to sound like i bullying ah but this happened at 2am. from cte exiting toward serangoon road/bendemeer rd. as i and my young brother (both riding same type of class 2b vehicle) were nearing the intersection of the exit where the PIE exit and CTE connects my brother speed up. I saw it my brother overtook a sunny nissan ahead. To my right a van crazily speed pass me, overtook the nissan w/o signalling (the nissan slightly swerved left and right)and then proceeded to cut in my brothers 1st lane w/o singnaling too.

Temper flared up within me. From afar i say my darah daging (means familly), almost being knocked down a reckless van. i sped up (luckily it was red light the exit left towards potong pasir, straight macpheson, right bendemeer) and pass by the nissan driver which turn out to be a female in her 30s, and she looked pale, i horned her abit and gave a thumbs up sign and she just nodded. my brother proceeded to right of his van and stared at the driver intently. the driver who was in his 40s, chinese male with specs just looked ahead. i was on his left and proceeded in front of his van. I glance behind me looking at him right in the eye. as slowly turn my head foward, clutch in 1st gear kicked down. Right hands on the front brake. then slowy reving up my throtle and releasing my cluth. My back end started to shift right and left uncontrollably. Only for 5 second before the green light turn and i moved of turning right into bendemeer. another red light before the ERP junction. i looked at my mirror. the van was engulf in smoke. Smell rubber dum dum.

i took the dotted line on 1st lane and the van stopped beside me on my right. i looked at him and he was busy clapping away and laughing like a nerd. I saw my brother stopped by his right and then he knocked on the window. That moment his hand clapping hand froze in the air at my direction and his head turned to his right at my brothers direction. He had his mouth half opened, suddenly stunned. i got my bike and went in front of his van and motioned him with my hand to come out. i took of my helmet and so did my brother. My brother put on his side stand but did not get off his bike and gave him hand signals to ask him whats wrong and showed him a hand puppet show that he had cut him w/o signalling. i banged at his small bonnet. He bounced on his seat. I motioned him out again. He started to put his hands together praying and the gave me and my brother the salute as if asking for apology. All this while i stared at him and then i used my right index finger to point at him. 1st my wrist swayed up and down, warning him to watch out. 2nd my wrist swayed left and right, warning him not to do it again. I got on my bike and moved off followed by my brother. we passed by the canal and didnt see the van coming at all.

The driver of the van may be wrong but the way you went about it made you look like the aggressor, a road bully...

I think it will be a different story if you are riding 600cc and above. They speed of you chase cut then see lor who can go faster. lol. :cheeky:

No doubt the driver deserve to get a scare like that, but careful dude. U could get into trouble by doing that if he made a report, or if there were witnesses.

yeah i know. but it was in the spur of the moment. if my brother had been hit by his van, indefinetly i would have dared to even crash my bike into his van. surely i would not have bullied him and instead i would do something even more drastic. you guys get the picture. i never meant to go after him that way. even though i have never been pissed of on the road, i just couldnt take it at that moment. i apologise if i have given a bad image to us rider and dont ussually post many comments. but i felt i should share the bad side. I also know it isnt nice to fight fire with fire.

funny thing about me is ever since i have been riding a bike, i have never been bullied by cars. taxi driving recklessly yes. a small stare at him, and he looks at me, and the next second he lifts his hand in apology. my young brother is almost the same size as me. but i have abit more mass hence i wear L and he wears S. he looks more like a mat and i look more adult. though i act more like a kid all the time. hence he always picked on by other road user and he too give it back to the aggressor.

well like i said, i hope not to do it again, and thanks for the advice guys.

hahah you sports bike riders can do it and get the hell outta there..imagine my cruiser struggling to ride faster anyway, it did happened to us before when a group of us riding cruisers + few sports bike then a b!+(H signal left and turn right in front of my friend causing him to ebrake.. then the whole group of us horn her and the sports bike went in front of her and rev..vent anger for that moment..but still nth more is done..we still LL can't touch her.

i'd try to talk him into letting me see his licence and see when he passed or if he's qualified to drive that class of vehicle also man I've been in vans/lorries and some drive like they're racing against those wrx/evo

anyway today while going home, I was going past this industrial area(shortcut to my home) in b.batok area and then turns here and there and I saw something flat and bloodied on the ground and managed to avoid it.It was a dead bird or animal I guess.Then went out few hours later and returned by that route at night and forgot about the dead "thing" and almost went over it luckily my headlight shone on it and I evaded in time..

Not too sure but I don't think it will be able to survive well with that shell broken...

 

And that is why if we can... we should never stinge and buy cheap helmets.

 

Its better to pay more for Snell Foundation or DOT approved full face helmets and use them even though they don't have the PSB sticker.

I dun think the tortoise's shell was Snell or DOT approved but probably had the PSB sticker stuck on it somewhere at the back. Did you see it or was it faded off from the cheap foil it was printed on?
