you cant expect retarted people to be normal.

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

Today's ride was a reality check.

A car turned out of a side road, crossed 2 lanes and caused me to do an e-brake to avoid colliding into him when he barged into the 3rd lane that I was on. Not time to horn but just execute the brake and swerve evasive action.

Came up next to him on the inner lane and waved my fist at him, was very tempted to give him the middle finger too. Gave me the dumbass "what-did-I do" look.

How I wish guns were legal here. All I need is just one .22 bullet coz a .45 would be just a waste of gunpowder.

oh well. sorry you had to encounter such an episode. to most of us, it's just another day in the act blur motorbike hating roads.

welcome back and welcome bk to the sorry state of local drivers' mentality hehe.

Thank you Lass. After sitting in all forms of public transport, it's nice to be in control of the front seat again

was riding back on CTE/SLE from mustafa center at midnight and saw on the EMAS display there's an accident at the lentor exit. took that exit (as i'm residing in yishun) with caution. saw a fallen phantom going up a tow truck and the TP's WRX directing traffic. didnt saw the rider but i do hope he's ok. my prayers go out to you.

as i was riding along yishun ave 11, saw another fallen bike which was a honda wave. i think a van trying to turn right hit him, but its not nice to assume blindly as i didnt witness at the point of impact. the cops were there directing traffic. saw 4 guys at the pavement wearing KFC delivery uniform. not sure which was the rider though. hope he's ok too.

take care guys. i almost got killed if weren't for the loud and irritating nautilus i've just installed recently. when night falls, visibility, hearing and fatigue kicks in so do keep a look out for vehicles drifting into lanes. and also, the egos of those modified family sedans/sports cars are indeed higher than during the day so, yea. stay away from them. :)

yup absolutely! always nice to regain some freedom. I hate public transport cos i can't tolerate being squashed amongst ppl and breath foul smelling breathe, sleepy faces and ppl stepping on your toes in the mornz. as it is am already so sianz to go to work, i dun need reminders of how boring it is.

Today I had a very satisfying track session at PG.

Only cockup this morning is..... I entered the wrong lane whilst at Woodlands checkpoint.

Want to scan passport and finger also. I said I already did that at Changi Airport... so how come don't have my data. Lady Sargeant tells me that I must come there to Block E after 10 AM to apply. Lucky she take my passport and scan in and then open the gate to let me through.

Not very happening leh... all the workers looking at you and you walking around the checkpoint in full leather suit. Embarassing. :giddy:

Question is.... why must the stupid place for application be there?? Why cannot be at the place where we make passport.? Join in the jam and smell 2T smoke again? Surely they can do better than that. :faint:

well, i guess that's trademark of local drivers here.

IMHO... drivers in other countries make mistake too.. but most of them appreciate their mistake and apoligze in good manner..

dont know why people has this "what-did-I do" look, they dont know what they did or dont want to accept the consequences..

Walao... this kind of picture also can find. :giddy: I don't mean in the bad sense.

I am prone to do crazy things at times coz I believe life should be lived to the max... meaning I will do anything and everything at least once.

I might be crazy but I ain't insane. Looking at the pic gives me the goosebumps. :faint: I can never bring myself to dress like that. Yikes!

I guess the kiasu cannot lose face attitude rules here.

Today while riding to the track... another car also did the same drift from slip road from Woodlands to the third lane of the SLE. Driver holding handphone and talking on it.

I thought it was illegal to do that here. For a moment I thought I was in the USA again.

For them and probably for now, it is only illegal to text messages while driving.

A few more head on collisions caused by American teenagers will bring on the handphone driving ban.

Today at about 5.45p.m, i just left my house and was riding along yio chu kang road going to turn to Hougang.there are 2 right turn lanes and both were purely meant for right turning only.i was on the right lane of the two and there was a lorry on my left.so the green arrow came on and we moved.just as i was about to turn the F****** lorry cut into the lane i was in and he would have gotten me good.i braked hard and skidded and even though i tried my best to stop and gain control, the back of the blue lorry hit the front of my bike and i fell.and the worst part is that he just went on as though nothing happened.i jumped off and was too stunned.i picked up my bike and just got on and started and moved off.i didnt manage to catch him.Karma is going to get that F****** *******.my head fairing suffered scratches while the balancer of my handle bar and the clutch lever got some scratches.what if i didnt brake.the case could have been much worse!

Bro, sorry to hear what had happened. You did not manage to get his license number?

I think this is considered hit and run right?

To have a normal life, you work for what you need.

To have a great life, you work for what you want.
