yesterday while riding on PIE, someone called and my left hand went to press the button on my earpiece to answer the call, suddenly saw a black thing dropping from he sky and hit my bike and myself. My arm wasn't hurt by the fallen branch but when I checked my right mirror, it was halved

IMHO it is a big no no to answer a phone call while riding.

 

The roads are already so dangerous with all the crazy drivers... why increase your odds of disaster by disrupting your concentration on the road around you?

Not to mention TP. Was probably caught going a bit fast under the overhead bridge along PIE just before Adam road towards Jurong y’day. This man lurking on bridge with camera… road hazard.

hmm well sometimes phones are just ringing non stop while you ride and it isn't safe to take it out from your pocket and put it between your fullface and your ownface.. will try to lessen the usage man..kinda deafens myself of whats happening around me..too quiet..

10 mins ago while riding back just at the junction outside my home got an old man skidded with his rxk in the middle of the road while i was approaching. his things rolled all over the road and he stand up concussed. help him bring up the bike n push to road side and check he alright than go liao. haha my bike still at the edge of the right turning lane. Road is wet wet wet, be careful everyone.

haha heard that at my work place before..the seniors made fun of Jrs when they looked at how others moved/carry/do things then they said " aiseh you come use eye power help us move things man" :]

Just helping fellow 2 wheelers cos i would wanna hav someone help me when i go down tis way, bike darn heavy

I did come across a rare good driver years ago (think he is a biker too). I skidded on a right turn junction and he pulled up at the roadside, pick up my bike, brought out a box of tissue n help cleaned on wound and even offered to bring me to see a doctor. What goes around comes around.

Definitely there are both good and bad drivers. They're people like u and me.

Once i dropped U turn, uncle rushed out of his car and helped me pick up bike. Once dropped on oil slick at right turn, 2 young fellas rush out of their car from behind to help me pick up and ask if i needed ambulance (haha)...

but once smashed up in accident, the drivers responsible came out and checked their cars first while i was lying in the middle of the ECP. Had to pick up my own bike and push to the side. That's both sides of people...

well yup last time when i fell, i had an s4 malay rider who stopped to help me and even malaysian kups ah pek wanted to help. really thankful. most cars just sped past me

erm kups I'm not sure..I know many malay riders help others when in need regardless of race and I RESPECT THEM! the last time bukit batok there was a phantom that went down also there was a S4 with pillion stopped to help.Also a malay rider

ya got bad apples in every race/population etc etc la.. lets hope more ppl have a heart and stop to help distressed people. not only help other bikers but even those elderly folks.

oh yes, this mornz an idiotic Chevrolet created a 3rd right turning pocket all cos he dun want to wait behind just 1 car. half the car bonnet was in my turning pocket when we were at cross junction heading opposite direction. seriously wonder how this idiot pass his driving.

It's not abt the race.

 

It's abt putting your shoes in the other person's position. If u should ever go down, you will appreciate any help that comes your way. So why not make an advance deposit of Karma?

i once helped a fallen stx13 (even though he cut into my lane dangerously without signalling). but the rider didnt appretiate people helping him. i should have let him pick up his heavy bike on his own.

wow that rider ain't v nice otherwise he must hv felt his pride crushed for falling in front of you. at least he could hv said thks.

 

btw, i wanna ask if those hugh looking exhaust (the outlet is bigger than size of your crunch fist) on cars are street legal. seen quite a few on the road and most of the time v impatient and cutting or changing lanes dangerously.
