Went for a night ride on the expressways earlier this evening just before 9pm, when I thought traffic was lighter. I was wrong. 3rd lane still have kup kia and lorries road hogging. If there're cars road hogging, it's going to be a big family inside. Nothing changes

hahaha... what other rationale is possible? can't blame them la. if you really think about it, the only reason we think they are in the wrong because we are so used to following rules and guidelines. for them, it's more of common sense and logic. they walk, you just avoid them and everyone is happy. think about it.

 

in india/bangladesh, i doubt they have a lot of traffic lights. they rule by their own method of giving way. in fact, i really think that some of them are really nice people just that india's/bangla's and singapore's way of life are totally going in opposites. sometimes, i really think we should learn from them. we have lost much of our soul as a human. when we get into an accident, we think more about the insurance claim and started to take picture and calling the TP to be witness to the accident rather than immediately rendering help to the injured party. what has happen to singapore? i just don't know!

 

Yday while riding... ... ... ...

 

After evening peak hour, was on lane 2, wanted to change lane to filter to another eway. Just nice left to me is a bus. I decided to slip in behind the bus and filter left instead of last minute change lane.

 

Den 1 fugger qiong forward to tailgate me while i behind the bus. Neh mind, i tot i just change to left lane. Just nice want to change lane, i car zoom fast to beside me - not all the way, really zoom den side by side with me... :sian:

 

Neh mind, cannot change left lane, tailgater still behind me, ok, i want to change back to right lane. Check blind spot oni a car from right ald eat halfway into my lane.

 

End up i kenna Quadruple Teamed... ... ... ...

 

How to HOV? install rocket so can boost me into the air? :faint:

 

Really fugging Ning Nong Piang drivers!

 

PS: All that happened in 1-2 horrible seconds...

 

firefox : yup in india or any other emerging countries, traffic's a mad house - no proper traffic lights, lane markings or even directional flow at times...so they use common sense. you just cross the road at your normal pace & vehicles will avoid you. i really freaked out when i was in vietnam & india cos i tot i was going to be hit but they seem to know how to go around you.

 

our traffic's regulated and structured yet we have much higher accident rates than them...doesn't make sense at all.

 

JackOHJack : you nv fail to amuse me with your stories...it's just the way you describe it...i should learn how to relate it in a light hearted manner like you anyway, if i were you during that time, i would have gotten really frustrated and blasted & held my hella horns as for the tailgater...i will just keep tapping my brakes! it's either he put up with my speed or he finds another lane!

last mth, while on the way back from 2nd link, i encountered a reckless driver along AYE which nearly caused several accidents with both cars and bikes. i took the license plate number and emailed the TP.

 

today, i received a call from the IO who is looking into the case. he was asking if i want to come forward as witness. but he did warn me, should the driver challenge the case, and was found guilty of speeding and reckless driving, i might be implicated cos i chased him to get his license plate number and i also followed him at a distance (which i indicated in the email).

 

there might be a chance i would get a speeding ticket and demerit points.

 

anyone got into such sticky situation before? pls advise

Today while riding, I felt my bike so big and clumsy after changing to a bigger handle bar, so big, cannot squeeze.

Almost slipped n missed my step when i was dismounting my bike while at the petrol kiosk , bike almost came down on me as side stand wasnt down yet as i juz abt to put down my left leg. Lucky i manage to steady the bike.

 

All becos of the some stupid user b4 me spilling some petrol on the floor n the attendants not doing anything.

 

N yeah , had a great day playing pick up wif a ferrari near nicoll highway. Sorry i had to slow down Mr ferrari , i almost reach the overhead bridge whereby its famous for shooters.
