today while riding... saw super 4 dreamer turning out rifle range rd into bukit timah rd... only one super 4 has those checkered side boxes!!!

today whilst riding (got back my bike yippee!) , brakes feel much better, no more rattling sound from the chain. rode at expressway, kept to leftmost lane all the way. i guess i'm still freaked out by the accident the other day. well, gotta overcome this fear already.

don't worry la. time will help to overcome the fear. i skidded 3 weeks ago. and now, i can ride with no worries! but still phobia of riding when rain.

 

wah! u all also go planet? was it Planet Motor? i sometimes go there also. but i hate to go there in the afternoon la. so many people, then must wait.

 

today, i was joy riding with my bike in my neighbourhood for a while, testing it out. sorry to those if i just whack my throttle like nobody's business. i'm still trying to figure out the right sound of engine to change gear. bike got no rpm uh. even now, i still don't know when is the sweet spot to change gear. sigh..

sorry if i may sound rude... but i think maybe most of the cars queuing up at shell station that why your got so much road space to race.

 

but isn't it abit ____ (fill in the blank with the words you like) to race with him? what he did was to bring you down to his level and beat you on experience.

theyre just full of crap !

was squeezing through stationary traffic at a junction in clementi when i accidentally hit someone's rear mirror ( i hate wave's mirrors haa). but kena horn big time by the taxi driver instead of the owner of the car that i hit. raise up right hand to say sorry to the driver (female driver, she super stunned haa), then immediately open throttle all the way go back store. who knows, the taxi driver and the lady driver chase me to ask me to pay .. then i no need eat for 2 weeks already haa ...

 

then at the last junction before i enter my house carpark, nearly hit a car from behind. coz he suddenly stop at right turn green arrow! when the green arrow lighted, the car inch forward slowly ... i was behind it (scared to squeeze between moving traffic already), when he suddenly BRAKE ! i was like @#$% stop for what !!!!

 

oh well.. but the main highlight for today when riding ... NO LANESPLITTING. heees. but riding through the spot where i fell, like got flashback. scary ..

Just now almost kena "Kiap" by a white van and a Oil tanker along mandai road.

I was in the middle lane after over taking the oil tanker, on the white arrow, not lane splitting, then this white van besides me in the next lane, started filtering in. Tires passed broken white line, then nearer, I kept to the left abit, just abit to the left of the white arrow, and just before he reached the white arrow I horn and horn. When he hesisitated a bit, I full throttled and got out of there fast fast.

 

Wah Lau! Almost became human sandwich....

 

After that, the guy kept following me, I do all the stop check, signal and blind spot check hopefully he got eyes to see how other people check blind spot when they use the road....

glad you're alright. just now almost kena sandwich too. p-plate driver, huhu. and i wasnt lane splitting either, he on signal straight away lane change .. and i just dont have the habit of horning at people. was hesitating to stay back or speed up to the front. but th throttle wins in the end ...

 

anyone who rode on AYE towards keppel at about 5.30pm just now? saw the whole group of bikes, thai plate? i felt that they were all very patient people to be riding together amidst the heavy traffic.

i had to say sorry to the car on my left @ the minor road who wanted to turn out, car on the right @ opposite lane who wanted to turn right and last of all, the car behind me.... 1 idiot(me) block everybody's way.... hahaha...

 

i cant remember where the location was and not familar with that area definately. hence the cockness on my part. Thus its veri impt to noe where u wanna go before going, avoid this kind of situation.

 

thats why army always have road briefing on how to go from point A to B... seems stupid rite.. .but got alot of pple think they noe... den they cant remember den holland.....

i dont noe why drivers dont check blindspot seriously.... car repairs too cheap??? or becoz of their egO?? thats y i believe that having the right values in life veri impt.... but i admit i'm a little impatient... need to kurb that right now...

maybe because .. they got more than 2 mirrors. so they think no need to check blindspot. summore got blindspot mirror maa. well, that's what my friend said to me when i asked him to check blindspot.

 

oh, and justnow, whilst turning left along ITE Simei, i stopped behind a taxi, not only the taxi driver was looking out for the traffic on the right, the other two passengers were also looking out fr traffic. haha !

 

sometimes i wished i can just teleport myself from one place to another. can avoid hazards everyday .

my undertray's screws dunno got stolen or dropped off due to vibration. 3 screws missing and the undertray fell out and scratched my less than 2 weeks old paintwork

Think it was really an oversight. Van got very big blind spot. Because body long, but left rear window is metal, cannot see through. So even if got check blindspot also cannot see unless I am already at the side window.

i just realised the importance of pumping air every week!! cos just now when i pump air, it was only around 100+kPA!! no wonder the bike felt heavy when i was pushing it the other day. now it feels so much lighter.

 

and i'm impressed with class 2a scrammies!! even when moving in gear 1, i can simply pop it by just blipping the throttle. interesting..

 

anyway, today, i almost had an accident yet again!! i was going to turn into my housing estate when i saw a big lorry going to come out. i saw it stopping to a complete stop so i thought he's giving me the right of way even though he's already half way out. as i proceeded to make a wide turn( keeping in mind to have at least 1-2m space of buffer), the bloody lorry started to move already!! die lor! lucky i did wide turning! if not, i sure kena langgar already. bloody hell! it's really scary when you're turning right and the lorry on your right seems to be moving towards you as you're completing the turn! remember guys! 1-2m buffer of space will help you a lot in extreme situations like this.

today while riding.... was on south bridge road just outside boat quay when this BMW tailgate me till very close. then tried to overtake me by the left but there is a stopped taxi (just after the boat quay bridge) knn just forced his way over to my lane without signal. luckily i anticipated and slowed down already. just let the bugger cut in lah. cos in a good mood cos my gf just me goodnite before heading home. so still in cloud 9 and cant be bothered by such idiot

We be going off from SG tomorrow abt midnight..Into AGL for some small last minute (if any) preparations on our rides before we set off night riding into Melaka..We would be going slow..

 

Gonna go for some sight seeing and chillaxing at Air Panas Gadek, Famosa, and a few other attractions there..

Need about SGD 150 for the whole trip..Accomodation, Logistics & Security matters have been settled..

Today while riding on SLE-BKE near sports sch saw a biker accident with a car.

The rider looks ok sitting on the road while the driver standing next to him.

About 100m away another accident a rider lay motionless on the road.

And no ambulance yet. hope both rider is ok, scarry this is 1st time seeing 2 accident in less than 5 mins.

 

Btw i did not witness the accident. Just happen to pass.

This morning, an electric bike nearly accident infront of me.

The Chinese lady rider, cut across the junction from the Yishun Stadium to Lentor ave when the lights turned green on my side. (ie Her side Red, 30 secs, for cars from Lentor to turn, followed by other side red then pause, all 4 sides red, before my side turns green. Total time for her to react approximately 45 sec.)

 

But she simply ride across, luckily, the car in front of me alert and only roll off the stop line and braked before going into the junction. I also brake heavily. In my mind I thought if the car on my left never see, move off normally, then "Ho Say Liao"

 

On my way home, I checked back before moving off, saved my from colliding into another bike that creeped up on me to zoom off after the red light.

I expect to see a few posts about stolen motorcycles at Sepang over this MotoGP weekend. Last year it seems 12 Singapore bikes were stolen from the hotels and from the track carpark during that race weekend.

 

I am really damn scared of going to Sepang to watch the races.

 

Rappie! I'm back! 4 aprilias and 1 rvf went up, all returned home safe!

 

1x aprilia and the rvf went home solo halfway thru the journey back as they've got some appointments to go to at night. 3 of us detoured to Air Panas Gadek (Hot springs), Air keroh for A&W and 1 emergency stop at Kulai for petrol. But everyone made it home safely.
