Was told by a very reliable source... name witheld to protect the guilty... that you could go up to 25kmh above the posted speed limits without being booked for speeding.

For example, you could go up to 115kmh on the expressways. Weaving in and out of traffic regardless of speed, of course, will get you a dangerous riding ticket.

Can anyone who has been booked for speeding before verify whether this 25 kmh overspeed grace is true or not?

Hmm... looks like what I heard is not true. But then again I shall go recheck with the source on the credibility. Perhaps there may be other factors to be considered.

Will keep you guys posted when I have more info. Till then, ride safe and don't speed on our local roads.

I think 110 on expressways is alittle fast, but getting booked for doing 73 on a deserted 50km/h road is really

Mebbe he just came from the bowling alley?

How to do it? Redline the bike and let go the clutch.

Guaranteed wheelie but cannot guarantee how the landing will be like.

PS. Don' try this at home.

real pissed off on my way home today.

was on PIE from tuas, at the place where it will split left KJE and right PIE (changi airport). I was on the right most lane with a car quite close behind me. we r going about 100 to 110 km/h when suddenly a nissan sunny lane changed without bothering to check blind spot or wat, and not going fast somemore. I couldn't do anything except to e brake, the car behind me also e brake. The feeling i was getting was that i was gonna be sandwiched in between but luckily the car behind didn't hit me. We both braked from 100+ to 60km/h or so. The a$$hole in front didn't bother.. just drive slowly. Now with the fear gone, all the anger kick in liaozz.. i gave chase on my ta150.. I accelerated and moved in beside his car, he saw that and I think he step all the way down on the accelerator and began to accelerate a lot faster. I was thinking, so now u wanna get away right? Made me even more angry, dun care liaozz.. drop gear and chase after him.. swerved and overtook him. I looked into my mirror and judged my distance then i tap my brakes once and after a sec, e brake and brought him down from to same speed like wat he did to me. Then i pulled away and showed him the international handsign.

I'm not proud of wat i did, and i admit tat i kind of brought myself down to his low low level but at tat pt of time really very mad and wanted to get back at him.

My nick is corner not b'cos i'm good at Cornering but b'cos i like to ride at one corner of the road...

Your name of Yibin has many sterling qualities but does not give you an overall stability. You do everything with an intensity to the point of fervour, and either you feel tremendous elation or you are in the depths of despair. People often disappoint you because you are idealistic and are apt to place those whom you admire on a pedestal. Then you become disillusioned when they fall short of your expectations. You are quick mentally and like to see things moving at an accelerated pace. Patience is not one of your virtues; you want to move when the impulse strikes you. While such spontaneity is fine at times, you must take account of conditions and employ careful analysis so as to avoid disastrous results such as accidents due to hasty actions. Most things you do, you do well, but as soon as the task, hobby, or job becomes familiar or routine, you are bored and crave a change.

I know it is easier said than done...especially when the red haze of anger has descended... but showing someone the international sign (I take it you mean the 1 finger salute) can actually get you into trouble. It may even start off a road rage incident.

I used to get fired up like hell with these kind of drivers but through the years I have kinda mellowed. Now if someone pisses me off on the road, I just stare at them, point at my helmet while looking at them and give the thumbs down sign or just shake my head at them. Basically telling them that they have no brains.

I found out and learnt from before that it is dangerous to ride with fired up emotions, coz fact is, you are on a bike which is extremely vulnerable.

Ride safe bro.

Today while riding on SLE, a malaysian wave speed past me, he was so fast that his clothes all flew up. (Like superman) Change lane like nobody business.

After a while out of nowhere a TP speed past me, i thought he was trying to catch up with a super four that speed past me just a while ago, after catching up with that TP then i know that malaysian wave was caught.

I was a bit over the speed limit and so was the others but the TP was determind to catch that malaysian wave. Lucky for me.

When i past by mandai lake flyover, i saw some TP station on top using camera to catch speeding vehicle. So many TP nowadays. :giddy:
