the recent case of the hyundai matrix landed on its side because of the lancer from the opposite direction.. imagine that flying debris hitting a bike, sure very jialat..

this is what i heard from my bf when TP officer question the lancer driver

 

TP: how fast were u travelling?

lancer driver: very slow only.. probably ard 80/90 km/h

TP: F*CK YOU!! looking at the number of barriers u just hit, u must be travelling at least 120-140km/h

 

yup, TP officer literally scold the F*** word at the driver.

My dear friend while riding did not get hit by a flying debris but a flying car from the opposite direction. R.I.P. Just imagine riding and literally a car flying towards you. No way to escape unless you can teleport.

today on PIE heading toward tuas before BKE, there were 2 separate accidents of rear car hit front car. E 1st grp was taxi vs taxi. 2nd grp was 3 cars. Funny thing is, this 2 grp were around 20meter away from each other. I would expect, after seeing something like this, u will be super alert for a while. :/

 

While waiting for my turn to pass e 2nd grp, i heared e driver of a van beside me saying. "wtf, another stupid driver?" to his passager.

 

After which, still PIE, at e exit of toh guan. Where e filter lane starts, also a accident. A kup and a 7 seater car. Didnt c e rider as i was on lane 1. Hope rider is ok.

 

Pls ride with care. wonder if full moon coming or end of year so some pple wan make plans to spend their bonus.

Agreed. They give back what they learnt at the driving centres. If can help then help if not just move along and not create another jam by slowing down to look look see see or even to take photo.

Go wear jacket, FF and gloves. Every time you ride. If you ride often like I do, very soon they will be on the shelf. You can't change the retarded mentality of Singaporeans, I felt safer riding in KL than in Singapore, we're full of assholes. Fine tuning yourself to read the retarded mentality of SG drivers is more important.

 

Anyway, if angry with drivers, don't bother with going one side and settle man to man, most of the daredevils are pussies, they will just look forward when you tap their windows. Just break their side mirrors and run.

As stated by frozenpenguins in any accident be it big or small bike riders still loogi. Bike hit car rider lose out. Car hit bike also rider lose out.

@Jehuty. I'm assuming but I think sg also has a category of drivers which is buy car but either dun maintain or no money maintain. So some of these maybe tire botak, brake not functioning well, etc. Still spd while corner, lose traction, etc.

 

For e protection, i dun mean u wear protection = safe. Kanna bang also wont die. I just mean on top of all e safety precaution, wear protection too. Ur advise of understanding retarded sg drivers is also damn good advice. Saves me dunno how many times already.

 

My frenz also say i siao. So hot wear till like tat. Every time also ask same thing. But ever since i started wearing, 1 time i didnt wear and whole body feel awkward, cant 100% focus on e ride. Now used to it, hot, sweat, rain also wear. If rain i wear raincoat over armor. Wa, hot. Lol

 

@pjy. I think i agree with duo la. Dunno when will get hit, then if u r in e air also cannot like kung fu twist turn here there. Lol. If is we bang pple then can throw bike first before impact lo. Less damaging to our body la. But if kanna bang from behind, c luck ba.

Today saw 2 separate aftermath of accident.

 

 

This was just after Clementi exit on PIE going toward town.

I'm quite sure the driver won't be able to say "I didn't see you"

 

 

This was after BKE exit on PIE going toward town.

The bus was sort of burned already. There was black scorched marks all over and the windows were shattered, etc. Wonder wat happened tat cause this...

My frenz also say i siao. So hot wear till like tat. Every time also ask same thing. But ever since i started wearing, 1 time i didnt wear and whole body feel awkward, cant 100% focus on e ride. Now used to it, hot, sweat, rain also wear. If rain i wear raincoat over armor. Wa, hot. Lol

@pjx. Good advice. Always ride with e mindset tat we may be hit. This will let us be more alert and focus. Though some may say ride like this how to enjoy?

 

For me now i ride even when full alert and focus, i still enjoy e ride. i like it best when slight drizzle.

After that had one driver abruptly swerved into my lane and hit me and can confidently scold me but he never did check nor signal and almost hit the rider before me. Sadly drivers in SG are always quick to push the blame to others even when its clearly their fault.
