Hi bros, been scouting 4 a reliable shop today. veri disappointed tat LXXi doesn't carry RXZ, cos ppl there veri friendly, customer service oso good.

 

By the way, am veri confused tat they told me they don't bring in RXZ cos of smoke problem, ppl easily got fined. wen to that Horse company, mechanic oso told me e same and they have onli 1, seems left long time. Is there any truth in tis? then those other co that have is all old stock? tat shop opposite of North told me i can even get my bike in 1 day(?)

 

oso veri confused about tis parallel import thingy. Emailed Hong Leong and got a quotation from them, so used it as a gauge 4 bike shop i visited. some quoted below Hong Leong, so i suspect is parallel import. shd i be cocern abt tis? Hong Leong said on their website parallel import has no warranty and i dun wan to kena TOTO like tis.

 

sorri for e long postlah, but 1 last qn. i have no biker friends, and being a newbie, not sure wat to chk4 a new bike. i have already shrinked my list to only 2 shops from 9 i visited today, 1 in Toh Guan and 1 at Serangoon. jus wonder ani bros can help me test drive? i buy u kopi. Will post decision later.

hey the pole...u go to serangoon there's this bike shop named "Bike Production" u can get ur first hand RX-Z there...I got my baby RX-Z first hand there also...OTR 4.8k cheapest in sg and jb..some say batam~ and his service also not bad..

 

The bike sold there is 100% agent Hong Leong Yamaha bike...no worries...dun listen to other ppl say what..they never bring in already...this prob that prob..all bullshit...SP stopped..KR stopped..but RX-Z is a never say die bike la..production never stops one..dun worry...

 

and new bike...what u need to check ah? seriously..baisc function in place..and engine is normal working and sounds good...that's all...dun need ppl to test ride or what..new bike what u want to test? Virgin piston and stuffs...u wanna whack to test its acceleration or top speed ah? come'on la...-_-|||

Hi Bro`s,

 

I am new at SB. I am riding a RXZ. I wanna change the suspension for my bike. Its quite soft already. Any recomandation and how much does that cost?

I wanna change the tyres also. I was told of TT100 ( Japan ) how much does that cost. Any good shop where I can service the bike. I don`t want to go some shop that don`t do a good job. Can bro`s here share some information. Thanks in advance.

starting point- Shell Petrol Station(Pasir Panjang Rd)

- Pasir Panjang Rd

- Left Turn after Mobil Station

- Up South Bouna Vista Rd

- Kent Ridge Park (U-turn in Carpark)

- South Bouna Vista Rd (again)

- Finishing Point: NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

another road i discovered dat have good nice corners is off Balestier Rd..

Along Whampoa Dr towards Jalan Bahagia n Jalan Tenteram..especially the corner at Jalan Bahagia after Xpressway..wow..like it very much.so wide.

hey bro mat-vtech let me share some places too...

 

u guys heard of IBP?? International Business Park..its behind IMM...one day got outing we go there k? at night when office hours is over..that place i deserted except for some taxi uncle sleeping and washing their cars there..and securities uncles to watch the buildings(most of the time sleeping) as that place is a business park for all the offices..its 100% safe to layang abit there at night...the corner there all built in a track-like manner....its like a mini track..with a straight road very wide...haha~ but dun play drag there..coz sometimes TP ambush at the straight road...

 

2nd place is little guilin area...if u know how to turn..there's plenty of corner around little guilin....u enter from the mosque side...corner all the way till a side rd appears..corner left into it...then corner somemore..until another side road..corner right into it again...then straight u go till u hit 3rd gear and hold...corner 2 times left...one sharp one okok...then corner left again...then straight...then right...then right again..wah...my house here plenty la...one day i bring u guys also haha...i always train my skills at these places...

 

3rd place is Westmall behind...got one wide roundabout...shiok ah that one...and before the roundabout if u enter from the bank side..got few corners also...

mi evrything in, all the motordiams charge me $5600 - $5880 (insurance of $400+ included, with IU everything.) Hong Leong quote is $5700, so i tot quite OK. it is the 1 tat charge me $5600(at Serangoon) tat i like, cos they give me everything: box, raincoat, helmet, bike cover, sling bag and the sales guy sounds OK. cos price low, tat's y veri suspicious, wan sum expert to chk. no choicelah, after goin' thru all the articles in the "Why Pay More?" and "Legality", become super suspicious.

 

2nd thing, i nid a witness to go oso. i did sum read-up, and here's a good weapon to have if ani bros thinking of trade-in/buy new bike:

(2) Subsection (1) shall not be applicable to establish the existence of any express warranty in respect of goods or services intended for business use.

 

Tis means if e motordiam promise u tis and tat, and u have a friend or someone to go wit u (not friend better. no friend, go with recorder) and hear all e c*aps, if motordiam eat their words, u go civil court/SCT, friend or someone can be witness and motordiam definitely kena, BETTER STILL, must do all e things they promise even they nvr put it in B&W!

wah seh...u very power leh...haha~ erm...i dunno wether which motordiam u talking about but...normally those very friendly friendly are those u need to be careful...ha...got a bad experience before...very important thing to check...ask if they have the policy of early settlement fee for ur installment (IF u r paying by installment) and also check for hidden cost..i.e. calculate the amount that they promised u with the amount on black and white..and do a calculation if u paying by installment wether eevrything sums up to the correct amount..if not...question them...but if they promise u 5.6k...u paying by installment...say 2 years..expect about 6k+ of final amount la..coz got interest ma..must remember ah..dun later ppl shoot u back..haha~
