Helmet Stolen at Pinnacle@Duxton Carpark

Hi All,

 

Just to inform you guys, yesterday my buddy OGK Avand helmet hanging on his super 4 got cut off and stolen at the carpark of Pinnacle@Duxton.

He is thinking of making a police report as there are couple of security cameras at that area.

This type of thieves should not be let off easily.

 

Do take note of your helmet when you are parking there, try not to expose it.

The helmet is very smelly with lots of scratches they also steal.

I thought i am the only one whose helmet been stolen. My helmet stolen at hdb parking lot, punggol. Cheap helmet, only 30 dollar, smelly and sweaty, but still got stolen.

 

Hope the police can catch the thief.

OGK Avand very expensive is it? I parked there before, my OZI open face put on my bike without lock is safe leh.

IMHO, anywhere near F&B/Social gathering establishments will have a slightly higher likelihood of having a helmet stolen. For riders who suddenly have the need to pillion someone else. They'll just cut the straps or use any old helmet so as to enable them to carry the pillion.

 

Then again, it can happen anywhere.

 

Write in to the relevant parties to see if CCTV footage can be obtained. If not, unfortunately there is nothing much to be done.

Moral of the story: Buy a full face. Then U-lock/ chain through your handle bars and chin guard. Tada no one can steal it anymore.

Which part of Duxton carpark did you park? Some parts have high pedestrain traffic. Also, many despatch riders, jb contractors park their bikes there. Cctv camera is useless as it only covers entrance & exit. Anyway, hope they find the culprit.

I've park inside pinnacle duxton before, sometimes when i go ride it on weekends, will notice 1 whole group of 10 malays standing there and talking and sometimes even sat on my bike with its side stand on........ im simply terrified to squeeek a word as i am terrified that they will gang up and steal my keys and rode it off and then......... violate me........even if imma guy.

moral of story. never leave a shiny nice helmet on the bike... Only the "market helmet" should be on the bike.

Kinda disagree.. even my cheapo was stolen..
