Fickle minded ladyrider is here again :cheeky:

I need ur help guys n gals.

After riding cbr 150 for close to one year, i decided to change bike n get a spark.. Dun ask me why but there is a sudden interest in spark.. But now.. Lots things in my head..

First thing first i alredi posted a thread to sell my cbr 150.. Its seriously in good condition but i dunno why i wanna change bike, maybe sum attraction for spark..

Anyway, if i wanna get a spark i only wanna get 1st hand spark from shop

I went to a bike shop.. THey said now is d worst time to buy brand new bikes coz COE very high and furthermore its better i wait till aug 24 wen i take off p plate coz insurance around 200 bucks lesser coz got one year riding experience

Ok now..

I heard that u cant renew road tax without renewing insurance first..

But the funny thing is..

My insurance expire on 27th August and road tax end on 15th August  and my p plate take off on 24th august:sian:

If i were to just renew all my insurance n road tax first before august 15.. and if i change bike after 24th august.. will i be able to get a refund of my insurance? Or will i just lose all d money and still have to pay all over wen i get a new insurance for my new bike? I can just do without renewing both.. but if dats d case i cant ride my bike after aug 15th n i cant even ride it to the bike shop to pass to them..

So iam very confused now..

Should i change bike or just stick to it coz of the insurance n road tax issues which makes my head wanna explode..But seriously i wanna change bike lar.

Sorry eh.. Im very blur. Someone advice me pls.:thumb:

Why move from one small bike to another? It makes no economical sense.

I can understand the need to upgrade to a bigger bike. It's call temptation.

Or if a person needs to downgrade bike due to varying reasons like, to reduce spending, not touring/track anymore, or change in job downwards... or loss of income.

But a parallel move? Just doesn't make any sense, financially. U lose money without any tangible gain.

That's correct...

Definitely they'll need to refund you your insurance if you lapse the policy...

Sorry eh.. Im very blur. Someone advice me pls

What advice do you need...?

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

5. Shout! KNNBCCB

if i dont recall wrongly, NTUC dosent do refunds for policies with 2-3mths left, if i dont remember wrongly

as duex mention, not a wise move as ur interest might die down later,

however if u insist, jus leave the insurance intact, tell the bikeshop u want to push in ur bike early cos road tax expiring on the 15th, handover ur bike on that day but u be bikeless for 9days?

if the bikeshop is flexible they might processed ur paperwork for ur new bike first, maybe ur insurance will start on the 24th for ur $200 rebate to be effective.

in the meantime do ur own background work after u handover ur bike, give LTA a call n inform u have trade in ur bike in the bikeshop n u have no idea when they want to renew the road tax or transfer ownerhship so that they wont penalise u for late road tax renewal.
