haha well i dun exactly know, but suspect his suspension is wearing out. so far he's not done anything about it and his bike is still fine. u can check though. whenever you hear the clinging, just put your hand behind and see if it stops (please make sure there's no traffic around u!).

Please be gentle with the gear shifting. Push your bike a little & play with your clutch to get Neutral. Force may damage the gear box. :thumb:

I guess I should be gentle with gear shifting. Just that I was trying to catch up with my friend on class 2 bike at each traffic junction. So push very hard in 1st gear to quickly get to 2nd. OK, will try the slow and smooth shift. Hope it works.

Since yesterday, my rear wheel locked on three occasions, just after moving off.

Brought the bike back the the motortiam I bought it from, and the mechanic said it was no big deal. He just removed some parts and oiled the area a little.

Now, whenever I ride, I hear this squeaky sound, which I think comes from the rear wheel.

What's wrong with my bike?

Anyway, this rear-wheel-lock thing started after I tried to pump my rear tire. The metal pipe hit the rear brakes a bit.

Like to find out what is RC valve and how can RC valve increase power for the bike to travel beyond 100km/h  Thanks anyone in advance for helping

Posted

RC valve is like the V-tec theory similar to Super 4s ... a boost of power to normal throttling ...

but RC valve may not need to open only after 100km/h ...

once the RC valve is open ... u can feel the sudden power and pick-up of the bike ... and the sound of the engine is different as well ... :cheeky:

hi iVy do you any web info abt RC valve I'm quite interested to find out how it works :cheeky:

yes? who talking abt me?

the rear suspension on my right side it gives off a ringing sound whenever i ride on certain rpm....

nothing serious.. just the vibration causing the top of the suspension to knock slighty against the rings... ...

at first though coming from engine..

sounds can be confusing,

For you O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You shall surround him as with a shield. Psalm 5:12

RC valve stands for Revolutionary Control (RC) exhaust valve. The RC valve uses a DC servo motor to precisely varies the exhaust-port height as well as valve timing when the engine goes over a certain rpm.

The increase in exhaust port size and earlier opening of the exhaust valve, allows faster/more complete evacuation of the exhaust gases (2-stroke engine) which means more fresh air-fuel mixture can enter the combustion chamber. More air-fuel mixture give the engine more power.

RC Valve

To gain a better pick up & distance within a shorter time.

But comsume more petrol then non RC Valve.
