go down to planet and tell him ur situation. Mainly, engine oil change and spark plug, chain and sprocket check.

 

suddenly the oil come out blacker than crude oil...

thx a lot. normally, what is the comfortable top speed for a phantom? i mean no other weird sound, except from the rouring of the bike. i only can hit 80km/h at express way. .......

 

hi there. for myself , i normally hit 90km/hr..

 

once you hit 100km/hr the engine will start roaring alittle.. so i would say my speed avg will be 90km/hr..

 

 

sometimes it really depends on the petrol , EO too..

one more question here, if i planning to go north, to melaka, what should i do to my bike before start my journey to avoid it to breakdown half way and has to call for tow service? really not confident on my bike .....

 

 

firstly , you will need to explore your bike first.. know it better before you make such trips.. it's my 3rd weeks on my bike and i'm still knowing her well first..

can try those shops like Zener hardware or DIY homefix or those shops in Pioneer North hardware shops...

Go as far as you can see; when you get there, you'll be able to see farther.

Can speed but not on this bike and engine. Not worth the struggle.

Hey need help!!!..

 

Recently found out my chain and gear box having sound.... i have adjusted the chain tension ....but there is still sound when using low speed... the sound is like got one part of the chain moving into the gearbox.... den sound like train moving...

 

anyone know wat is the problem? please advice pros...

 

Time to buy the new chain you have links seized and when it they go around the sprockets it pulls the chain really tight and then flicks loose when between sprockets.

Yup, changed new chain and sprocket... haiz...... my orginal sprocket gonez.......... now changed to cheap one.... but okay... problem solved...

overhaul means rebuild engine... disassemble then clean... and replace parts if necessary...

 

symptoms...? e.g. EO leak into combustion chamber... a.k.a EO mysteriously disappear after a while...

don't forget the power diff between that and a 400cc which is relatively about the same FC ;)

 

Its not the cc as i told u b4, its what the bike can do for u. Personally i get a smoother ride at faster speeds and which enables me to do light touring to Malaysia and even unto Thailand itself. Im happy with this bike......financially it doesnt strain me. Bigger cc all in good time.

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.

Oh yeah, back when my chain, sprockets and tyres were new......not to forget using those expensive oils and plugs.....my TA200 was able to reach speeds of 135km/h without much vibration compared to when using cheaper oils. Its not really recommended to stress the engine though. Anyways tried it a few times only....lol. Should hear the roar.

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.

its... more than that... once your engine's power drop very very badly, or doesn't sound normal... should get it checked...

Yup for myself , i lub with GP1 3 times per week if i ride almost everyday..

 

for this week i be riding alittle less as i have no where to go. so 1.5weeks i lub once.

yup EO and plugs really make great differents. after changing the EO , pick up is better... might consider getting good plugs too ;-)
