owner of policy doesn't necessarily mean owner of bike.

because it possible (through experience) for one bike to have two policies;

hence 4 riders

but if summon sure will look for owner of bike.

Hi Bros & Sis(s) (If any here at the post),

I got one question. If the bike is still under installments, can the ownership be transfered? Will shops honour this type of agreement?

I mean COI is still with the shop, the new owner will bear the cost of transfer & insurance. In this way, if anything happens, the new owner will be the rider. Thus leaving us out of the picture.

Yes, most shops will allow, but some will need you to take a new loan with them. Some will let you transfer and continue the installments (sometimes have to pay 1~3 months installments upfront)

Actually, u can go with ur sub rider to LTA, tell them that u r no longer riding this bike.. And ask them to change the billing adress to ur sub rider place.. Shouldnt be a problem.. u can try call and ask first..

R u sure it is possible?
