Hmmm guys..come on..

lets not get too heated on these..

This thread is meant as an info for MSS..

Maybe we can joke here & there..

But to be in tense moment like these is looking bad for our local scene..

I believe we need everyone help here to improve our scene, riders skills & technical know how or even if a crash in the track who do we ask for aid....every riders opinion is taken to thoughts..

I know an exchange of ideas is good but to challenging the other party to prove them wrong by jeopardizing ur physical & financial self is too over lah..

I always heard out to all riders opinions but that don mean i have to take it to my head,

I go by wat is comfortable,my ability & affordability..if its not my style then its not my style..

I have lots of guidance/coaching from the more experience riders..& from that i use it to my strive..but not all suit it..from there i match my style..

At the end of the day whoever have deep pocket full of cash..

Can invest on watever MOD they want for race...as long as they are not protested for watever race they are in..

And if they still lose with a fully mod bike then its their money wasted..

But i guess its the pride & the feeling of achievement behind the every win that every riders look forward too,& knowing that u did with little $$$ spend & the ability u have make's it more sweeter..

I was rouding the Bukit Merah Zone yesterday....guess what I saw..........the the singapore doc bike was stripped. i enquired the team unity chief mechanic ah xiong,"what happened?"

he said the doc only wanted to do valve clearance. but even the exhaust header and cylinder head was removed. the mech continued,"but i removed the head to check the pistons as well...........and turns out the piston ring was worn out.....so we are replacing them."

i think rd3 is gonna be very tight with singapore doc and malaysian ramon who has apparently spent alot on his machine too. do make singapore proud

Don't just break your laptimes, SHATTER them!!

Hmmm.. dats y is say Unity Ah Xiong :thumb: ... Told him to just do valve clearance, he took out the block also and check the pistons and ring..

Luckily YAMAHA OEM parts are cheap or else :faint:

Yup i was told Malaysian Ramon #21 did a STAGE 2 mod on his CBR and dat easily cost him arnd S$15k just on the parts.. :faint:

Before this, Ramon was only arnd half sec per lap behind me.. With this in general he shud at least improve 1-2sec.. So now we'll be seeing arnd 1:08 by SBK Novice rider #21..

I will be happy if i can just do a 1:09s.. :thumb:

Dat 15k is my estimate based on basic stuff like HRC CAMS, HRC wire harness, HRC ECU, HRC Suspension, etc..

As for wat is stage 1 and stage 2, im not too sure.. Maybe Sato san can explain.. But frens across border told me #21 on the way to Stage 2 mod..

Yes its crazy to spend $15k for an URGENT 1-2sec improvement.. I wud rather spend all dat $$$ on tyres so i cud get more rides..

More Rides = Better Rider = Faster Laptimes
