shop wise around 2.5-2.8k

hey guys, i've a fellow cbr150 rider friend who just told me he's going to let go of his FBD plate cbr150 to change to krr or sp as he wants more power. He said that he can sell for 3.5k and buy krr or sp for 1k plus. The difference can be used to offset any maintenance of the new bike. I didnt know what to tell him as I thought it's quite feasible. You guys think it's worth it??

i think yr fren can get back quite a fair bit of money from the sale.

let's say he unfortunately only gets abt $3k for his FBD cbr150. KRR nearing COE expiry (FT plate) is probably not worth anything more than $500 already. so he can use the balance to renew COE if he really likes the KRR so much.

the above is just abt dollar & cents.

end of the day if he likes acceleration and topspeed, then get a SP/KRR. if he doesn't ride it hard enough, he needs to spend more on maintenance.

no money no talk~

haahah

i did consider selling my cbr150 and buying a 2nd hand x1r that i saw posted in garage sales some time back. x1r w/ retained FA number plate for $3.1k. super tempted. ended up feel that the cbr150 sports feel suits me better. :p

i think i may just end up holding on to e cbr150 till COE runs out in 2013. then maybe renew? or get another cbr150?

yup I saw it..

Apparently the tank is a bit of plastic feel. The frame is also not Deltabox, unlike FZ150. The only plus point is the ability to use wide tires. Rear tires can fit 140/60

But only 2 valves... I rather stick to spark.. haha...

the owner said that it comes from rxz but the bike shop said that its from spark

alamak

that's complicating

if u go try positioning the bracket alongside yr bike now, u feel can fix or not?

if the alignment of holes is not too far off, i think can spend some $$ to modify. i've seen rearbox bracket mounted in at least 3 different styles on cbr150 so far.

first is w/ the bracket run parallel to and along the pillion seat.

second is w/ the bracket run under and along the bottom of rear fairings starting from the pillion footrest screw.

the above 2 are the full length brackets.

the third uses a much shorter bracket that is mounted using rear pillion bar screws only.

I am so tempted to upgrade to the new CBR150.. after listening what you had just said, I have gain enlightenment not to.. haha... Although have to agree sports also suits me better :cheeky:

wah..if so fast let go of yr FBE plate, confirm lose big time loh.

u can zhng yr lc135 to have sports feel also leh.

get the complete set of racing boy rear brake disc conversion kit + racing footrest.

confirm sporty. hehehe.

anyway what was it i said that enlightened u?? dont think i mentioned any big theory leh~
