yo prankster...sorry for the late reply..i juz came back frm taiwan a day ago....then,went pg yesterday,so a bit tired to reply...k..1stly,i can c tat u r overly eager to get a class 2 bike...tatz natural...u r waiting for ur TP,rite?my advice, concentrate on it 1st..do not be too confident tat u'll pass...but,however,mostly alot will pass...2ndly,pertaining to the bike..i'll tell u wat i've done so far...the process of running in n all tat...i took an advice frm a fren of mine..he's well learned n can say..a master in bikes...i did a semi hard running in...which means, for the 1st 500km,i rode it wit rpm not more than 7-8...then,once reached 500km,i changed the minerals..went to motorworld, got it changed to semi syn...in the duration of 500km,i ride along expressway,i shift up gears frm 1-6...then,wit each gear i rev up to rpm 7...then,i shift up next gear..when i reached the last gear,i stayed on rpm 7 for abt certain distance, then i down shift all the way to 2nd gear...then i rev up to rpm 7 again..then,repeat the same process again....did it a few times only...on n off only...then,on the previous trackday b4 yesterday,i rev up to rpm 9....for a few laps...to get it gear up for high speed riding...only b4 the 5 lap race,i whack the bike to rpm 11...after the 5 lap race,on my way back hm,i maintain the rev up to rpm 11...no more 7....yesterday, i increased the rev to rpm 13...i realised that in order to live tiz bike to its full potential,i need to rev it to rpm 11 and above then change up 1 gear...tats wat i did yesterday...wow..amazingly,i noticed the power it possesses....u can try tiz way if u want to...tiz way,i release the potential of tiz bike gradually...lastly,if u get tiz bike,u won't regret it...

Hey bro, thats really a very late reply... But not to worry, better late than nv...

Yah bro, u r correct, i'm very eager to get my new bike.... Hopefully next month... I'm not waiting for TP actually... I'm waiting for the bike itself!!! N that's the reason y i am so eager and excited...

Anyway, regarding the run-in, i'm plannin to follow an advise my friend gave... He told me to follow the manual as much as i can, and that will ensure that the engine will last longer pertaining the wear and tear... Coz s i'm not a racing enthusiastic, i dun go PG or sepang, and most likely not intending to go... I'm just a rider who loves the feelin of riding, the feeling of cold wind blowing at me when riding in the nite... Not nessecary must go track...

Anyway, i just wanna confirm this thing, issit that in the owner's manual itself, it state that riding from 0-7/8 rpm during the process of run-in? Coz i seriously hope that it is true... Coz i noe myself i wun be able to tahan riding at 80km/h on expressways at nite... At least if i can ride till 7rpm which i think should be about 105km/h, would be wonderful for me...

Can u enlilghten me on this?

After read it and found, It an EVOLUTION of engine machinery. Time change, people change, technology change and most of the world change(but still "something" out there never change) In the engineering/machinery world there always a changes for improvement. So, these people do thing with purposes(to be recognize in their reseach, 'why their study share in the web for the world to know) and they never gain anything from us . Even though in our motorcycles tecnology change from time to time......:thumb:

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
