THEFT NOTICE

 

 

Theft rate of components (this time is headlight protectors levers & master pumps) & easy removal items has been on the rise these 2 mths again.

 

A month back Jln Membina. A few weeks back in Tampines. Now it struck bishan. A total of 4~5 bikes have been the victim.

 

All the bikes in the same MSCP have been struck. Even OEM components/stuffs are not spared. Lost items vary from $200~$1000.

guys, i jus had a minor accident in the heavy downpour. A malaysian cub was squeezing tru the traffic & jus rode in front of me, hitting my front tyre. The car behind that idiot & the car beside me stopped & helped me out in the rain.

 

Very thankful to them, but too bad, their first words were " are you ok? u got that guy's plate number?" aiyoh, didnt get the plate number... this ppl ah, ride in our island like as if their own disorganised streets.. :giddy:

 

anyways, wana share with u guys, DONT BUY SHOGUN SLIDERS!!! Instead of being grinded lyk mos reliable sliders, it broke almost into 2!!! its just useless!!

take care bro, ride safety guys, bad weather this few weeks.... will u guys feel that original braking is damn lousy after 1mths? my brake feel like shi+ now cant brake...

Looks like we have to cancel it Mechy... its quite a hassle to confirm at last minute cos I'll be having my school DnD on that day... :bouncefire: I think i'll dress up like Valentino Rossi... :p

after 1 mth?? have u tried adjusting the rotating tingy (duno wat isit called :p ) on ur brake lever??

yeah outing cancelled, no takers. after fasting month can try again.

 

ur DnD is fancy dress ah? wear like stoner easier wat... just spread some gravel on urself... :p

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

for me during normal rides still doing fine.. but my brakes died on me ytd while i was at pasir gudang.. overheated i guess.. couldn't shed enough speed for the turn. ended up going straight to the gravel. lucky managed to stop just b4 the tyre wall. :giddy: guess it's time to change the brake pads!

wow!!!! u must be fast man!!! died on u meaning wat??? brake hard but not efficient enough??

 

well i have no prblems with mine.....i used the stock brake pads before, but brake line using goodridge, dats a bout it.

 

how did yr brakes failed on u??? brake max till hit lever??

brakes lousy on the cbr?? are you sure? these are one of the best standard brakes in the business...even at the track i find them immensely powerful. sure, the brakes fade on the track but which brake system doesn't after laps of hard braking? ur best bet is to change ur brake lines to steel braided ones and maybe ur pads...but if you're riding on the road, i seriously doubt the braking can deteriorate after just one month...much less feel like shi+!

Hmmm... I dun think so leh... I ride for almost 1 yr already.... Still feels great... But that time i went HKL, change tyres and stuffs, the mech did somethin to my brakes.... Now feels even more good!!

I think that is oni the freeplay adjustment....
