Base on HKL Price list.

 

Single compound (i think)

Metzeler Sportec M3 120/70-17 180/55-17 $370.00

 

Dual / multi compound (so middle is hard and longer lasting)

Bridgestone Battlax BT003RS ZR 120/70-17 180/55-17 $399.00

Pirelli Diablo Corsa III 120/70-17 180/55-17 $435.00

Metzeler Sportec M5 120/70-17 180/55-17 $440.00

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT 120/70-17 180/55-17 $440.00

So far i used dc3 and bt003rs. very grippy on dry/wet roads and track

found dat bt03rs has better mileage (> 20k with 90%pillion + 3 track session but relax relax riding) and cheaper.

sorry nv use elephant brand b4 so cant comment.

hear from a fren Ppower 2ct is slippery in wet but his main reason is nail magnet (kena 2 or 3 nails in a month) :lol:

Pure is good but to me too ex for normal road riding.

 

this is just how i feel. but it all depends on the style u ride or the $ u need to spend.

anyway I am going for my wedding honey moon this December tour Europe for 3 weeks. I will ask my dad to on engine for 5 mins every 3 days. Is this sufficient? Do I need to disenage my battery?

just DC the battery will do. cranking the bike up without riding draws more power out of the battery than it can recharge this kills the battery faster.

take out ur batt unless u enjoy push start / jump start ur bike...

 

i was injure for 1mth i can rider.. every single day hop to carpark to start bike and rev rev.. so cant ride after 1 mth.. so pls dont take the risk.. u will REGRET!!!

i can safely say cbr600 is a good bike.. good for sg road + track but pls dont expect too much out of it...

2nd hand abit hard to get.. 1st hand there are a few shop selling

ohh thanks.. im getting it for sg road nia. MAYBE will go track.

so among the 600s cbr6 good enough alrdy right? in terms of handling and performance.
