Congrats on your purchase. If it's the agent bike then eversh*t will send you via snail mail. Frankly with the kind of warranty given by them I would not want to go to them. If you had bought from Looi's just go back to them, they are quite competent in normal servicing. Just eyeball them when they fix it back for you.

Hahaha dats truely a joke man.. Might as well get PI n shorter waiting time summore... Wateva it is, im glad to get Akira.. Thanx to all e bros here who have helped me in my decision making back in Aug last yr... Till now, im still smiling when i rode her.. GTR - Great To Ride , Grand Tourismo Roadster :) ...

Went to tachyon to do my full servicing - spark plugs, air filter, flush coolant, fix e hella horn n some "tweaks" to enhance e performance... Ride damn smoother than its already was n best of all its completed within couple of hrs only, else at loois for that kind of service i was told to leave my bike for at least 2-3 days... Duh !!! Indeed Tak knew what he's doing :)

 

P/s : Some pple might tink dat he's charges r quite ex but for me, im paying for his expertise n delicate job which is worth it :) ..

Yes agree with you.... He knows his job well. Do make an appointment before you head down, it can get too crowded...

Since i didn't receive my service booklet, I decided to Call Eversh@@e jus now.

They mention tat my bike first flush is abt 800km.

Is it true? Cos wat I know it's at 500km.

Pls advise bros...

actually 500km or 800km is fine.the owner's guide also state do not hit certain rpm @ certain milage,before running in engine.but some still just wack the bike!do not over run in engine or under run in engine.its still a question to be answer.cheers & ride safe always.

Just keep it below 4k rpm, change engine oil @ 500 km then at 1k km just keep it mineral..... Are you referring to the warranty booklet? The user manual should come with the bike. If not just go online and download.

For the Z8 tyres... 1 word sums it all up...! SHOIK! Went up to Carmeron Highlands and it handled really well...

 

A question; on the way back.. for a split second.. a Red Light came in on the left side of the console and the "FI Error" blink once on the LED Display... The bike still ran well... was traveling appox 220km/hr than...

 

Has any one ever had this?

To Me....

 

It's not How fast you go... It's how FAR you Travel...:thumb:

 

It's the Rider! Not the Bike! o_O

in between z8 & pilot rd 3.i prefer the pilot rd 3.as for the F1 light,mine also did lit up while travelling.looks like is a "cough" inmost all kawa gtr.
